Alina Habba Says Federal Workers Not ‘America First’ Will Be Let Go

Alina Habba, previously one of President Donald Trump’s attorneys and now serving as his White House counselor, made a significant statement earlier this month about federal employees.
During an appearance on Fox News, Habba made it clear that any Executive Branch employees who fail to prioritize America would be dismissed.
“Why would it be that deep state institutionalists, people that work for Jack Smith, that worked overtime night and day to put Donald Trump in jail, why wouldn’t Donald Trump get to pick his own people? Why would he be stuck with that group of people?” asked Fox News host Sean Hannity.
Habba responded enthusiastically: “I love that you asked me this question, Sean. You know what I would say to all the liberals freaking out? Yeah, no, here we go. Ready? If you’re Biden and I’m in the DOJ, are you leaving me there, Biden? I don’t think so.”
She elaborated, stating, “Look, the truth of the matter is this. You’re not America first. They were divisiveness. They were the party of attack. They were the party of politicization of the law, fair justice, and injustice.”
Habba went on to criticize the state of federal agencies, saying, “They made Americans scared of the FBI, scared of the DOJ, feel like they were being attacked for being a Republican or a Democrat. And that’s for both sides of the coin. That’s not America. That’s not America. That’s third-world stuff. So it’s the same thing, right? We don’t want people that are political like they were, that volunteered, by the way, they were not appointed to those roles.”
She continued, pointing out, “They volunteered to help Jack Smith. Yes, they were in the prosecutor’s office. Yes, they were in the DOJ, but they volunteered to attack Trump. Are these people going to be able to say, I am not a political person. I’m not going to attack somebody and raid a child’s bedroom and a wife’s bedroom that did nothing wrong because this is an election season and we need to get Trump out. No, they couldn’t do I assure you they could not do it now.”
Habba firmly stated, “I’m welcome to listening to if they believe they could, but I assure you they could not. If you’re not America first, you’re out. And not only that, we’re replacing a lot of people with good people, people that care about America, the Constitution and things that President Trump cares about.”

In December, Trump announced that Habba would become part of his administration.
“I am pleased to announce that Alina Habba will join my White House Team as Counselor to the President,” Trump shared on his Truth Social platform. “Alina has been a tireless advocate for Justice, a fierce Defender of the Rule of Law, and an invaluable Advisor to my Campaign and Transition Team.”
Trump highlighted her dedication, stating that she “has been unwavering in her loyalty, and unmatched in her resolve — standing with me through numerous ‘trials,’ battles, and countless days in Court. Few understand the Weaponization of the ‘Injustice’ System better than Alina, who has fought relentlessly against the full force of Lawfare with courage and an unshakable commitment to Justice.”
“As a first generation American of Middle Eastern Heritage, she has become a role model for women in Law and Politics, most recently being named Chaldean Woman of the Year,” Trump added. He concluded with: “Congratulations to Alina, her husband Gregg, and her three beautiful children, Chloe, Luke, and Parker.”
