All Hell Breaks Loose LIVE On CNN After Biden’s Shocking Hunter Pardon

Scott Jennings, a conservative political analyst, criticized Democrats for rallying behind President Joe Biden’s unexpected decision to pardon his son Hunter on Sunday. Jennings argued that the party’s “brain-rotted” supporters are defending a move they would have likely impeached President-elect Donald Trump for if he had done the same.

Speaking to liberal panelists on CNN, Jennings suggested they could “spend all day long” trying to pin Hunter’s felony conviction on “somehow Trump’s fault.” He pointed out that despite these efforts, the Justice Department insisted its decision to charge the president’s son was not influenced by politics. “This is the worst possible thing a president could possibly do to his party and to the country,” Jennings remarked.

Biden, who had steadfastly stated throughout the year that he would not pardon Hunter, broke with tradition by granting his son a pardon for felony tax evasion and weapons charges. The pardon also immunized Hunter for 11 years, a scope far exceeding past examples like President Bill Clinton’s pardon of his brother-in-law for drug offenses or Richard Nixon’s more limited clemency. Critics of Biden argue that this decision undermines the integrity of the pardon system and sets a precedent for future personal pardons if they serve family interests.

“The rule of law is sacred. We have to respect the justice system. Juries, we have to respect juries. We have to respect the guardrails and the norms of our democracy. These people are liars,” Jennings stated, underscoring his point by comparing Biden’s broken promise not to pardon Hunter to previous declarations about inflation being “transitory” and Afghanistan being “secure.” Jennings continued his critique with a list of what he called Biden’s misleading claims, saying, “Biden has a cold, he’ll never drop out,” referencing other White House statements that eroded public trust in the administration.

“It is all a lie, it is all a grift. Every American except the most partisan, brain-rotted people are going to be outraged by this today,” Jennings asserted. “You think 38, 39 percent job approval is bad? Just you wait, just you wait. He’s a disgrace today, a disgrace. Outrageous.”

WATCH:

Republicans will have ample opportunity to challenge Biden as they gear up to assert control in a restructured Washington, where they will hold all branches of the federal government starting January 20th, when Trump takes office. House Speaker Mike Johnson joined other Trump allies in lambasting Biden’s decision. “President Biden repeatedly stated that he would never forgive his own son for his grave transgressions. However, he abruptly awarded a ‘Full and Unconditional Pardon’ for all of Hunter’s transgressions for over ten years last night,” Johnson posted on X Monday morning.
