Bad News For Joe Biden After BRUTAL Video Of Him Goes Viral
Social media users expressed strong reactions to a new video capturing President Joe Biden and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) supporting each other as they walked across a San Francisco airport tarmac, acknowledging their advanced ages.
During a three-day fundraising tour in California, Biden, 81, joined Pelosi, 83, upon his arrival at SFO on Wednesday afternoon, as reported by NBC News.
The video depicts the elderly president and Speaker Emerita cautiously making their way to board Marine One after being welcomed on the tarmac by Pelosi and Mayor London Breed.
The internet buzzed with comments as the two leading Democrats supported each other during the tarmac walk.
"Can either one walk?" remarked one user on X platform.
"Two old cronies plotting and supporting each other," wrote another.
"On Golden Pond Part II," referenced another, drawing parallels to the 1981 film portraying an elderly couple navigating life's challenges.
"She could have just brought a walker!" scoffed another user, while someone joked: "Geriatrics unite!!"
A user humorously called it a "nursing home reunion."
Pelosi notably mentioned in a recent CNN interview that despite Biden's evident mental health challenges, "he's younger than I am," refraining from criticizing his age.
Next month, Pelosi turns eighty-four, yet she backed Biden despite her own occasional blunders.
"I've collaborated with the president for a long time, especially during my time as speaker when he was president, and even now," she stated to Anderson Cooper. "He's always on top of things. Anyone thinking they have an advantage due to his age is mistaken because he's very sharp."
Cooper acknowledged Democratic concerns about Biden's age and mental fitness, referencing a recent incident where Biden appeared to confuse Mexico and Egypt, ironically during a discussion about mental acuity.
Pelosi defended Biden, noting that everyone makes mistakes, but emphasized his knowledge, wisdom, and strategic thinking.
The vast majority of Americans, however, express concerns about Biden's mental health, according to a recent NBC News poll. Eighty-nine percent of participants, nearly 9 out of 10, are worried about Biden's mental well-being.
The poll, released ahead of Biden's press conference, highlighted that 62% of registered voters nationally have "major concerns" about his ability to serve a second term, while only just over 1 in 10 have "no concerns" about his mental state.
