Barron Trump's College Choice Unveiled as He Begins Classes Surrounded by Secret Service

Due to security concerns, the college selection of former first son Barron Trump has been kept confidential.

Given the notoriety of his father, who faces both widespread criticism and extremist opposition, this secrecy is hardly surprising.

However, with the new academic year beginning, keeping Barron’s school private was bound to be a challenge.

Now, the mystery has been solved: Barron Trump is attending New York University for his higher education, thanks to keen observers and a proud father.

Barron, the youngest child of former President Donald Trump and former first lady Melania Trump, has enrolled at NYU’s business school.

“He was accepted to a lot of colleges,” Donald Trump shared with the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

The former president continued, saying, “He’s a very smart guy, and he’ll be attending Stern, the business school, which is a great school at N.Y.U.”

The New York Post also confirmed Barron Trump’s college debut.

Photographs published by the paper captured Barron stepping out of a black SUV on his way to the Manhattan campus.

“The towering 18-year-old was flanked by Secret Service agents as he made his way across the downtown campus, with a black Swiss Gear backpack slung over his shoulder,” the Post reported.

The outlet, citing anonymous sources, noted: “Dressed in a white polo, black pants, and Adidas Gazelle sneakers, Barron’s first stop was the dean’s office before heading to class.”

Tuition at the prestigious private institution starts at “roughly $62,700 annually.”

Additionally, Barron is expected to reside off-campus, commuting from his father’s Trump Tower residence to attend classes.

Donald Trump also mentioned to the Daily Mail that Barron briefly considered following in his father’s academic footsteps.

“I went to Wharton, and that was one we thought about,” Trump stated. “We didn’t do that. We went for Stern.”

The former president expressed pride in his son’s decision.

“It’s a very high-quality place. He liked it. He liked the school,” Trump said. “We liked NYU. I’ve known NYU for a long time, and it’s one of the highest rated.”

He added, “He’s a very high aptitude child, but he’s no longer a child. He’s just transitioned into something beyond childhood.

“He’s … doing great.”
