Biden Forced to Cancel His Speech

President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19 while in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Originally, the president was scheduled to address the annual UnidosUS conference on Wednesday, but he had to cancel his appearance.

“I was just on the phone with President Biden," UnidosUS CEO Janet Murguía stated, as reported by CNN. "He expressed his deep disappointment at not being able to join us this afternoon. The president has attended many events as we all know, and he just tested positive for COVID."

His speech was set to begin thirty minutes prior.

According to a statement from the White House, Biden will be self-isolating at his home in Delaware.

"The President presented this afternoon with upper respiratory symptoms, including rhinorrhea (runny nose) and a non-productive cough, along with general malaise. He felt okay for his first event of the day, but since he was not feeling better, point-of-care testing for COVID-19 was conducted, and the results were positive for the COVID-19 virus," noted the president's doctor.
