Biden Just Learned His Fate After Recent Action Against Him
According to a recent CBS News survey, illegal immigration and inflation remain the top concerns for voters, reflecting trends seen in polling data over several months.
The survey aimed to evaluate how the abortion laws on the ballot in Arizona and Florida might influence the presidential elections in these states. However, the latest results suggest that these laws are not significantly impacting voter preferences, as President Biden trails by five points in Arizona, a state he won in 2020, while former President Trump leads by a decisive nine points in Florida.
Despite strong support for abortion rights in both states, concerns about immigration and the economy appear to be bolstering Trump’s chances.
In Arizona, 52 percent of registered voters believe that recent immigration has worsened life in the state, a substantial increase from July 2020, when only 35 percent held this view. Conversely, the percentage of registered voters who believe immigrants are improving Arizona has dropped from 29 percent in 2020 to just 13 percent.
The survey also highlighted stark differences in expectations for the border policies of the two main party candidates. Only three percent of respondents expect Trump to prioritize immigrants, whereas seventy-two percent think his policies will favor U.S. natives over illegal immigrants.
Regarding President Biden, only 13 percent of registered voters in Arizona believe that if re-elected, he will prioritize the needs of Americans.
President Biden appears to be losing support among key demographics, including Hispanics. Although he secured the majority of Hispanic votes in 2020, Biden is currently tied with Trump in Arizona.
Overall, the poll shows Trump with 52 percent of the vote compared to Biden’s 47 percent. As of this survey, Trump remains ahead of his main political rival in most swing states.
