CNN Cuts Live Feed To Trump Address Before To Avoid Embarrassing Harris
CNN was initially broadcasting Donald Trump’s Tuesday address from his Mar-a-Lago resort but ended the feed just before he introduced a grieving mother whose child was reportedly murdered by an undocumented immigrant.
In a video clip shared online by Explain America host Carmine Sabia, Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’s handling of the border crisis, an issue President Joe Biden tasked her with addressing early in their administration.
At one point, Trump referenced Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old girl from North Houston, allegedly murdered by two undocumented Venezuelan immigrants. Trump also aired a campaign video featuring Jocelyn's mother, Alexis Nungaray, who recounted learning of her daughter’s tragic death and expressed that she holds Harris accountable.
Two suspects, Johan Martinez-Rangel and Franklin Peña, were arrested in connection with the crime. Jocelyn was reportedly found in a creek, bound and strangled.

Jocelyn’s mother later joined Trump at a rally in Austin, Texas, following his appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast. Speaking at the event, she said, “I know everybody knows somebody that was like her (Jocelyn). She was 12, she was gonna be a seventh-grader… due to the Biden-Harris policies we have here, she’s not here anymore. She was taken from her vulnerability, and they made her a target.”
She also voiced frustration that Harris had not reached out to her. “I think it’s very sad that she can’t even just give me an open, sincere apology,” she said, adding, “She attempted to apologize to me just days before this election, and I find it very… convenient for her.”
Trump then discussed another case involving an American family. He stated, “Today, we are going to talk about the REAL character of Kamala Harris—a person who has no remorse for the anguish she has inflicted on families across America. Here today is another American mom, Tammy Nobles… Tammy’s 20-year-old daughter, Kayla Hamilton, who had autism, was found raped, tied up, and strangled to death. Kayla’s murderer was released into the United States under Border Czar Harris.”
He continued, “Her borders are the worst in the history of the world.”
Reflecting on the border policies, Trump said, “What Kamala did to Jocelyn and her family is the most heartless and cold-blooded betrayal imaginable. Thousands of cases just like that, thousands, in throwing open the border. People have no idea who they are, where they’re from, anything about them.”
“Kamala violated her oath,” Trump emphasized. “She desecrated our laws and got innocent girls like Jocelyn tortured and killed. Anyone who knowingly sets loose these monsters into our country has no right to be running for office, let alone the office of president.”
With Election Day just a week away, Trump also declared, “We’re leading, I believe, in all seven swing states.” He briefly mentioned “some bad spots in Pennsylvania,” noting, “some serious things have been caught or are in the process of being caught,” but ultimately remarked, “the election itself is going very well.”
