Corrupt Letitia James Issues Major Threat To Trump After His Big Win
Following President-Elect Trump’s historic win on Tuesday night, New York Attorney General Letitia James held a disjointed press conference, during which she appeared to make threats against him.
“So here we are. We’ve studied their platforms. We’ve identified certain possibilities, fact patterns. We’ve created contingency plans. So no matter what the next administration throws at us, we’re ready,” James, visibly shaken, stated to reporters. “We’re ready to respond to any attempts to cut or eliminate any funding to the great state of New York as the governor outlined. So despite what has happened on the national stage, we will continue to stand tall in the face of injustice, revenge, or retribution, and protect our most vulnerable and marginalized amongst us. Because it is my sworn duty and responsibility to lead that fight, working with the governor of this great state, Kathy Hochul.”
She added, “This is not the time to be fearful, New York, but faithful and steadfast, knowing that I as the Attorney General along with my entire team, we are guardians of the law. And we are prepared, my friends, to fight back. Thank you.”
James utilized a hotly debated civil fraud case to uphold her campaign promise to prosecute and “convict” former President Donald Trump. Despite the loans on the property being fully repaid with interest, a Democrat judge accused the former president of misrepresenting the value of his Mar-a-Lago estate, resulting in an initial judgment of $100 million.
Experts in law and real estate have fiercely criticized the seemingly baseless litigation, which is expected to be overturned on appeal.
A Fox News legal analyst called James' bizarre press conference one of the “most distasteful” comments ever made by an elected official following an election loss.
“And Letitia James has been this the entire time. She has done everything in her power to destroy Donald Trump, she failed. Do you know how I know? Because Donald Trump won,” the analyst remarked.
