Crowd Erupts as Donald Trump Makes His Inaugural Entrance

On Monday, President Donald Trump entered the U.S. Capitol Rotunda to take the oath of office as the 47th President of the United States.

As he walked in, the approximately 600 attendees in the Rotunda greeted him with enthusiastic applause and cheers.

Cries of “USA! USA! USA!” echoed through the Capitol as Trump prepared to be sworn in.

Trump has already laid out plans to sign a series of executive orders addressing immigration. These measures will roll back several policies from the Biden administration.

Among his initial actions are 11 executive orders focused on the border crisis, with three already generating significant attention online.

The president plans to enact over 200 executive measures in his first wave of policy changes, which will focus on areas like energy, border security, reducing costs for American families, and dismantling DEI programs across federal agencies.

As highlighted by Fox News, the following are three significant border-related actions Trump is set to implement immediately:

  1. DHS and DOD will be ordered to finish the wall. Personnel will be deployed to take control of the border. Parole policies/programs terminated, such as CBP One App. Migrant flights program done. Catch and release over. Remain in Mexico back.
  2. U.S. troops to the border under NORTHCOM
  3. Designate cartels as foreign terrorist orgs, such as Tren de Aragua and MS-13. This allows further latitude in stopping their operations.

According to an official statement provided to Fox News, “The president is issuing a historic series of executive orders and actions that will fundamentally reform the American government, including the complete and total restoration of American sovereignty.”

On his first day, Trump plans to declare a national border emergency, direct the military to collaborate with DHS in securing the southern border, and prioritize the elimination of criminal cartels operating within the United States.

Additionally, Trump intends to issue a proclamation that will effectively close the border to illegal immigrants.

The president will establish homeland security task forces combining the expertise of agencies like the FBI, ICE, and others to “fully eradicate the presence of criminal cartels.”

Trump will also reinstate the “Remain in Mexico” policy, order the construction of additional border wall sections, and grant emergency authority to quickly deport individuals crossing the southwest border illegally.

Another priority involves energy independence. Trump will “fully unleash” energy production in Alaska as part of a broader national security strategy.

An official explained that Trump’s energy-related executive orders would tackle liquid natural gas, fracking, pipelines, and permitting processes while eliminating restrictive policies from the Biden era.

The federal workforce is also in Trump’s sights. Plans include overhauling federal bureaucracy by reinstating presidential control over career federal employees. Trump aims to introduce a new merit-based hiring process and increase oversight of top government officials.

Federal employees will also be directed to return to in-person work, signaling a shift away from remote operations.

The president also intends to “end the weaponization of the federal government,” restore free speech, and eliminate federal censorship.

Foreign aid and NGO funding will be scrutinized, while a hiring freeze will be implemented at the Department of Government Efficiency.

“He is reasserting muscular control of the Executive Branch of the U.S. government,” the official told Fox News.

To reduce costs for American families, Trump plans to launch a historic de-regulatory initiative. A presidential memorandum will require all federal agencies to eliminate policies that increase costs for consumers.

“This is a massive, record-setting, unmatched first wave,” the official emphasized. “Even after this, there is a whole host in the queue to continue the restoration of America.”

Trump’s administration officials have emphasized that “everything” voters supported during the campaign is being translated into actionable policy.

“There is a massive federal workforce that has been moving its objectives at the expense of the American people—and President Trump is taking command, saying you will serve the American people and only the American people,” the official added. “This is about stopping corrupt, abusive behavior and re-focusing the government on its fundamental duties to the American people.”

The overarching theme of Trump’s Day One agenda is “promises made, promises kept,” according to incoming officials.

“As soon as President Trump places his hand on the Bible and swears the Oath to the United States Constitution, the Golden Age of America will begin,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. “The American people will have a leader who will deliver on the promises he made to restore our country’s greatness.”

On Sunday, Trump offered a preview of one of his first executive orders concerning TikTok, which the U.S. Supreme Court had recently ruled to shut down.

Trump plans to sign an order that extends the transition period before the ban takes effect, allowing negotiations to address national security concerns. He clarified that “no company that helped keep TikTok from going dark before my order will be held liable.”

A Trump official described the first wave of actions as “shock and awe on a scale never seen before.”
