Dan Bongino Announces Heartfelt Message to Fans

Conservative firebrand and well-known radio host Dan Bongino delivered an emotional message to his audience on Monday morning, announcing that he will step away from political commentary.
Bongino has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the FBI under the newly appointed Director, Kash Patel. A former Secret Service agent and strong supporter of Trump, Bongino emphasized that he is “focused on getting to work” in his new role at the bureau.
“It’s not going to be the last show, but we’ve only got a few more left with you,” Bongino told his viewers. “So, obviously, we’re going to be working with a team of people to make this transition from me, political commentator Dan, to Deputy Director of the FBI Dan.”
“Those are different roles that require different skills. Skills I have and have used before and I plan to use again. It’s going to hurt to leave you,” he explained.
He reassured his audience that while he is stepping away, the content created by his wife and daughters will remain unchanged, as they have played a significant role in managing his brand.
“I’ll discuss over the course of the coming days, I’ll be with you for a little bit longer on radio and on my show, I will discuss exactly what’s going to happen. My wife has been running the business for a long time. I don’t get involved with the business at all. I do the talking,” Bongino added.
“The FBI belongs to the American people. It doesn’t belong to me. It doesn’t belong to anyone else but the American people. But this is the honor of a lifetime, and it’s a serious mission. And I plan on implementing that vision,” he concluded.

Trump made the announcement on Sunday night via a Truth Social post, praising Bongino as “a man of incredible love and passion for our Country.”
Trump shared on Truth Social: “Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice! Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our Country, has just been named the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the man who will be the best ever Director, Kash Patel. Dan has a Masters Degree in Psychology from C.U.N.Y., and an MBA from Penn State. He was a member of the New York Police Department (New York’s Finest!), a highly respected Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, and is now one of the most successful Podcasters in the Country, something he is willing and prepared to give up in order to serve. Working with our great new United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Director Patel, Fairness, Justice, Law and Order will be brought back to America, and quickly. Congratulations Dan!”
Later, Trump followed up with another post: “Another aspect of the life of Dan Bongino that I think is very important. He has a great wife, Paula, and two wonderful daughters who truly love their dad. What an incredible job Dan will do!!!”
Bongino responded on X with a simple message: “Thank you Mr. President, Attorney General Bondi, and Director Patel.”
After Patel was confirmed last week and officially sworn in as the new FBI Director on Friday, he expressed his gratitude on X and emphasized his commitment to his new role.
“I am honored to be confirmed as the ninth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Thank you to President Trump and Attorney General Bondi for your unwavering confidence and support,” Patel wrote.
“The FBI has a storied legacy—from the ‘G-Men’ to safeguarding our nation in the wake of 9/11. The American people deserve an FBI that is transparent, accountable, and committed to justice,” he continued.
“The politicization of our justice system has eroded public trust—but that ends today. My mission as Director is clear: let good cops be cops—and rebuild trust in the FBI. Working alongside the dedicated men and women of the Bureau and our partners, we will rebuild an FBI the American people can be proud of,” he added.
“And to those who seek to harm Americans—consider this your warning. We will hunt you down in every corner of this planet. Mission First. America Always. Let’s get to work,” Patel concluded.
