Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett Goes Too Far, Makes 'Enemy' Claim Against Trump

Top Democrats are missing at least five critical traits: intelligence, wisdom, basic decency, a functioning filter, and the ability to recognize their own self-interest.

No one embodies that staggering lack of qualities more than Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett.

During a Sunday interview on MSNBC with Alex Witt, the host of “Alex Witt Reports,” Crockett managed to showcase all those deficiencies at once by referring to President Donald Trump as “an enemy to the United States.”

“Unfortunately, we have someone that is occupying the White House,” Crockett said, in a clip that quickly spread on X.

Take a moment to appreciate her choice of the word “occupying” to describe a duly elected president.

Then came what might be her most reckless, disgraceful, and completely unhinged comment to date.

“And as far as I’m concerned he is an enemy to the United States,” she declared.

In case anyone was tempted to soften her meaning, Crockett immediately doubled down.

“He swore an oath just like the rest of us,” she continued. “But right now, when you are literally putting us at risk all ’cause of what — because you want to convince your followers that you should be a dictator, too, that you should never leave the White House, because you don’t believe that elections should take place. I don’t really understand what is going on, and I don’t know what it’s gonna take to get people to wake up.”

Crockett was specifically outraged over Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance’s stance on Friday at the White House, where they openly pushed for peace and prioritized American interests over foreign entanglements. Their offense? Calling out Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy — a figure worshiped by Trump-hating liberals — for his arrogant and entitled attempt to strong-arm America into writing endless checks for a war that can’t be won and could have already ended through diplomacy.

As anyone who spent even five minutes on X this weekend saw, Trump-obsessed leftists spiraled into a meltdown. Despite offering little coherent explanation, they’ve elevated Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian war effort into near-religious devotion.

Of course, we know exactly why.

After nearly a decade of nonstop media propaganda falsely tying Trump to Russian President Vladimir Putin, these people have been programmed to view the Russia-Ukraine conflict in simplistic, comic-book terms — a battle of good versus evil — ignoring the real story of how U.S. meddling and broken NATO promises paved the way for the war.

Democrats, naturally, don’t want to hear any of that.

For reasons only they understand, they continue to promote Crockett — arguably the most openly racist member of Congress — as a rising star.

Her claim that Trump is “literally putting us at risk” for pursuing peace shows a stunning lack of both intelligence and wisdom.

Far worse, after Trump survived two assassination attempts last year, she still had the audacity to call him “an enemy to the United States.” If she blurted it out without thinking, it reveals a shocking lack of decency. If she said it deliberately to rile up her party’s unstable fringe, it’s outright sinister.

Even setting aside her absurd framing of peace as “risk,” and ignoring the fact that her rhetoric could easily provoke unstable Trump-haters into violence, the most incredible part is how Crockett — and the Democrats as a whole — never seem to learn from their own mistakes. They’re just as unfiltered, just as reckless, and just as oblivious to their own long-term interests as ever.

Democrats have spent years accusing Trump of their own authoritarian impulses. During the 2024 election, they hysterically tried to label him “Hitler” and his supporters “Nazis.”

That desperate move backfired spectacularly. Because — contrary to Crockett’s past insults — the average American voter is far smarter than the average Democratic politician.

Which brings us back to Crockett’s “dictator” comment. It’s proof that neither she nor her party’s leadership has learned a single thing. She can’t filter her mouth, or worse, doesn’t want to. Either way, her inability to think strategically leaves Democrats blind to their own best interests.

As one X user put it: “Crockett will be responsible for many lost elections for Democrats. We should want to hear her 24/7 on every liberal talk show. She is election gold for MAGA.”

In other words, plenty of Trump supporters are thrilled to have her in the spotlight.

The more voters see and hear from Crockett, the more they’ll connect her glaring moral and intellectual failures to the Democratic Party as a whole.
