Donald Trump Gets Blockbuster News

A leading Super PAC supporting former President Donald Trump's 2024 bid for the presidency, Make America Great Again Inc., has announced raising $104 million in the second quarter of 2024 fundraising, covering April to June.

MAGA Inc. also reported having nearly $114 million in cash reserves, according to figures initially shared with Fox News on Friday.

This update from MAGA Inc. follows a recent announcement from Trump’s campaign, revealing that it and the Republican National Committee raised an impressive $331 million over the past three months. This total surpasses the significant $264 million raised by the Democratic National Committee and President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign in the same timeframe.

Part of Trump’s fundraising success came from a surge in donations following his historic guilty verdicts in a criminal trial this spring.

A month ago, the Super PAC announced plans to support the former president with a $100 million summer advertising campaign in key battleground states.

This development aligns with a recent Pew Research Center survey indicating Trump’s lead over Biden, despite Biden's lackluster performance in last month’s debate.

According to the poll, Trump’s approval rating is at 44%, compared to Biden’s 40%. Notably, Trump holds a double-digit lead over Biden on three critical issues.

Approximately 68% of respondents told Pew Research that they are generally dissatisfied with the presidential candidates available to them.

The Pew survey, released on Thursday, is the first following Biden’s disorganized and occasionally confusing performance during the initial 2024 presidential debate.

Trump holds an advantage over Biden due to his strong positions on three key issues for voters: immigration, the economy, and international relations.

On immigration policy, Trump leads Biden by 17 points (52–35%), on economic policy by 14 points (54–40%), and on foreign policy by 10 points (49–39%).

President Joe Biden has stated that he will remain in the presidential race against former President Donald Trump, but this does not seem to reflect voter sentiment.

A Rasmussen Reports poll released on Friday brings dire news for both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The poll indicated that 55 percent of respondents want the president to withdraw from the presidential election. Additionally, 50 percent believe that Democrats should choose someone new, not Harris, as his replacement.

“Importantly, nearly half (48%) of Democratic voters at least somewhat agree that Biden should step aside and let the Democratic Party choose another candidate,” the poll stated.

Another poll, conducted by Cygnal, also brought grim news for the Democrats as voters criticized the president’s debate performance and showed little confidence in the vice president.

“Post-debate, we’ve seen the largest single month-over-month movement towards Republicans across-the-board, from R+0 to R+4, in the history of our national polling,” Cygnal President Brent Buchanan said. “President Biden’s image worsened to 62% having an unfavorable view of him after 67% of respondents said they watched his disastrous debate performance.”

“Trump’s performance earned him 4 points from undecided debate-watchers and another 3 points from those who were Biden supporters heading into the debate. There’s little question this has further eroded the political environment for Democrats,” he added.

Despite poor polling numbers, the president insists he will not step aside.

Biden experienced another misstep when he appeared at a rally in Wisconsin, affirming that he remains the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee.

“There’s been a lot of speculation: What’s Joe going to do? Is he going to stay in the race? Is he going to drop out?” he addressed the crowd during a 17-minute speech.

“Here’s my answer: I’m running and going to win again. I’m the nominee of the Democratic Party. You voted for me to be your nominee — no one else. Some folks don’t seem to care who you voted for. Guess what? They are trying to push me out of the race. Let me say this as clearly as I can: I’m staying in the race,” Biden declared.
