Donald Trump Reveals Plans for Barron's College Education Have Changed

According to a report, Former President Donald Trump hinted at an update regarding his youngest son Barron's post-high school plans during an event at Mar-a-Lago.

The presumptive 2024 Republican Party nominee mentioned that his 18-year-old son will be attending college, although the specific institution is yet to be decided.

Trump also mentioned that Barron had previously considered several schools but has recently altered his plans.

During an event at the former president's residence and resort, Trump responded to inquiries about his son's fall plans, stating, "Right now, he’s doing a great job. He has great marks. He’s going to be going to college soon."

Trump further elaborated, "And we’re looking at some colleges that are different [than] they were two months ago."

A clip of Trump's comments was shared by Ben Berry on X.

Additionally, Trump highlighted that Barron, who is set to graduate from Palm Beach County’s Oxbridge Academy, has gained popularity.

Despite his ongoing criminal trial in New York, Trump will attend Barron's graduation ceremony.

There were speculations that Barron might attend Trump's alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, or New York University. Las Vegas bookmakers even placed odds on which school he might choose.

There were suggestions that St. John’s University and the University of Miami could be potential choices, especially considering Barron's potential interest in college basketball, although this remains uncertain.

Barron's interest in politics has also sparked conversations, particularly after videos of him displaying style, stature, and political interest circulated after he turned 18 in March.

Reports surfaced that Barron had been selected as a delegate to represent Florida at the upcoming Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July, but Melania Trump's office released a statement indicating his polite decline due to prior commitments.
