Elon Musk’s Pro-Trump PAC Ramps Up Advertising: ‘We Must STOP Kamala’

A SuperPAC backed heavily by billionaire Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, Starlink, and SpaceX, is gearing up to release a series of digital ads targeted at swing state voters in support of Donald Trump.

The ads deliver a clear and bold message. One ad on Google’s YouTube, which has garnered over three million views, warns, “If you sit this election out, Kamala and the crazies will win,” implying the consequences of a Harris victory would be higher costs and an influx of undocumented immigrants. Trump is depicted as an "American Badass," with images of him raising his fist after a July assassination attempt, urging supporters to “fight, fight, fight!”

Another ad from the America PAC on Meta Platforms’ Facebook takes aim at Harris, stating, “We must STOP Kamala while we can,” and claiming that “Arizona families have had ENOUGH of radical liberals.”

Bloomberg News reports that a Facebook ad features a voice-over with a Russian accent, stating, “Meet Comrade Kamala,” painting her as a figure bringing Soviet-era policies to places like Michigan.

In the buildup to this election, Musk publicly endorsed Trump on July 13, shortly after the assassination attempt on Trump’s life in Pennsylvania. Musk has since become one of Trump’s most vocal supporters, pledging millions of dollars to his SuperPAC, which has been flooding swing states like Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, Nevada, and Wisconsin with ads.

America PAC's messaging initially focused on contrasting Trump’s and Biden’s economic plans, but following the assassination attempt, the focus shifted to portray Trump as a fearless fighter. Recently, the ads have begun targeting Kamala Harris directly, portraying her as radical or out of touch, especially emphasizing her laugh, and encouraging Trump supporters to develop a voting plan.

Aside from Musk, Trump has garnered endorsements from unexpected figures such as former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former Democrat Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, and Georgia’s Republican Gov. Brian Kemp, with whom Trump had previously clashed.

Silicon Valley investor Naval Ravikant recently voiced his support for Trump during an interview with Megyn Kelly, explaining that the legal attacks against Trump, which he described as "lawfare," pushed him to back the former president, saying, “It’s really disgusting behavior… this is how you descend into a complete banana republic.”
