Equal Employment Agency Employees 'Openly Revolting' Against Trump: Report

The swamp resists any attempt to be drained, and that is particularly true when it comes to gender ideologues—some of the most entrenched figures in that very swamp.
Since returning to the White House, President Donald Trump has issued multiple executive orders. Among them is a directive stating that, under his administration, the U.S. federal government will recognize only two sexes: male and female.
This move led to an internal upheaval at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), where staffers have voiced their dissent, arguing they cannot comply with the order, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.
Trump removed the previous leadership appointed under former President Joe Biden and installed Andrea Lucas as the acting chair of the agency.
Now, employees are expressing frustration over the administration’s stance on sex and gender, particularly regarding changes such as the elimination of the option for employees filing discrimination complaints to select an “X” on forms to indicate a self-proclaimed nonbinary identity.
Staffers informed Lucas that following the executive order would violate federal law. They pointed to a 2020 Supreme Court ruling that extended Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to cover sexual orientation and gender identity as forms of sex discrimination in the workplace.
“The tactics you are employing and the actions you have taken in lockstep with this new administration are illegal and unconstitutional,” one EEOC administrative judge stated in a Monday email to Lucas, as reported by the Journal.
The judge, in an apparent act of protest, copied the majority of the agency’s staff in the message, according to the outlet.
Additionally, the judge criticized Trump adviser Elon Musk, who is leading the Department of Government Efficiency and, as he puts it, is tossing entire federal agencies “into the wood chipper.”
“If upon reflection, you feel like now would be a good time to take a vacation and resign from your position, please ‘reply all’ to this email and put ‘I’d Like to Occupy Mars!’ in the subject line,” the judge quipped.
By law, the EEOC must accept all allegations of workplace discrimination.
A spokesperson for the agency confirmed to the Journal that “all charges of discrimination are accepted by the EEOC.”
However, the spokesperson also noted that Lucas has “acted promptly to comply with applicable executive orders to the fullest extent possible under her existing authority.”
In other words, the EEOC is losing its ability to use civil rights law as a means to impose gender ideology on American businesses.
It’s a remarkable shift to witness.
Trump’s administration has systematically dismantled federal recognition of what it views as the illusion of transgenderism, leaving the bureaucratic establishment with little more than the option to send impassioned emails—emails that are either ignored or, in this case, leaked for public amusement.
This period in American politics has been both extraordinarily effective and thoroughly entertaining.
