Every American Should Witness This Ex-Dem A/C Repairman School MSNBC on Why Kamala Lost
Tuesday’s loss for the Democrats has sparked numerous questions within their party.
They’re tackling the most obvious ones first: What exactly went wrong? Where did their messaging fail to rally voters against President-elect Donald Trump?
An X user named HVAC1, who describes himself as an HVAC expert and business owner, replied to a clip from MSNBC where panelists were grappling with these very questions. He provided what he called the “simple answer” as “a former union democrat.”
“I’ll make it real simple for ya from a former union democrat… Easy fix. [Y]ou s**t on and insult working people from your mansions and gated communities. [Y]ou steal from us to give to your pet constituents. [Y]ou call us enemies and garbage, deplorable, and nazis…” he commented.
He continued by listing over a dozen criticisms, pointing out the Democrats’ inflationary policies, threats to pack the Supreme Court, habitual dishonesty, and efforts to impose “sexual perversions and fetishes on us,” among other issues.
The clip he reacted to features MSNBC analyst Tim Miller, who told host Jen Psaki, “There’s a fundamental brand problem,” highlighting the gains Trump made among every demographic except college-educated women.
Miller suggested that Democrats “have to figure out how to talk to them [those demographics].”
While left-leaning media figures can analyze their setbacks from a top-down perspective for hours, working-class Americans like HVAC1—people who experience the Democrat party’s failures firsthand—offer a unique perspective.
His complaints essentially outline a list of grievances against Joe Biden’s administration.
He referenced issues ranging from transgender policies and accusations of Nazism to the prioritization of foreign wars, uncontrolled immigration, and blatant dishonesty.
The suggestion that all these problems are an “easy fix” does add a touch of humor.
In reality, fixing these issues might be straightforward for Democrats—if they simply stopped engaging in these actions.
Since Trump first launched his presidential campaign, the Democrats’ platform has emphasized ideological purity over practical voter engagement.
Instead of asking, “What stance will attract voters?” they seem more focused on, “What stance aligns most closely with our ideology?”
This should be basic advice for any public official considering a run for office, yet Democrats astonishingly fielded a presidential candidate while remaining oblivious to it.
So, who is this X user to be offering such insights?
He isn’t a public officeholder nor, at least on paper, does he possess formal political expertise.
And that’s precisely the point.
Elections aren’t decided by MSNBC or liberal elites. They’re determined by everyday Americans.
