Lara Trump is making a return to Fox News, but this time, she will take on a new role as the host of a primetime weekend show.
The network announced on Wednesday that “My View with Lara Trump” will debut on February 22 and will air on Saturdays. This is part of a broader weekend programming shake-up, which will see “One Nation with Brian Kilmeade” move to Sundays from 10 to 11 p.m. Eastern Time.
Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott praised Trump as a “gifted communicator” who resonates with the American public. In a statement, Scott added, “Lara’s innate understanding of the American public and today’s political landscape will be a compelling addition to our weekend lineup.”
Expressing her enthusiasm, Lara said, “I’m thrilled to bring my voice back to FOX News, talk directly with the American people, and highlight what makes this country so great.” Her return follows her recent role as co-chair of the Republican National Committee.
Lara originally joined Fox News as a contributor in March 2021 but departed in December 2022 after Donald Trump announced his 2024 presidential run. Her exit aligned with Fox News’ policy regarding political candidates.
Beyond politics and media, Lara has ventured into music. In January 2025, she released her original song “Hero.” She also made waves in 2023 with a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down,” which climbed to the tenth position on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart.
