Fox’s Ingraham, Bartiromo Named To Kennedy Center Board of Trustees

Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo have taken on new roles, thanks to President Donald Trump.

Alongside their positions as Fox News hosts, these well-known conservatives have been appointed to the board of trustees at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

“I am thrilled to announce that Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo will be joining our Kennedy Center Board – This completes our selection. We look forward to restoring the Center to Greatness, and ushering in America’s Golden Age. Together, we will Make the Arts Great Again!” the president declared in a post on his TruthSocial account.

Other board members include Usha Vance, the wife of Vice President J.D. Vance, Allison Lutnick, the wife of Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Senator Mitch McConnell's wife Elaine Chao, as well as Dan Scavino and Susie Wiles.

Richard Grenell, a diplomatic envoy for special missions under Trump, currently serves as the president of the Kennedy Center.

This announcement came just a day after Jeffrey Seller, the producer behind “Hamilton,” stated that his production would not return to the Center during Trump’s presidency.

“Politics have never affected the presentation of thousands of shows and the display of extraordinary visual arts,” Seller remarked in his statement explaining the decision to withdraw the musical about America’s founding figures.

“However, in recent weeks we have sadly seen decades of Kennedy Center neutrality be destroyed. The recent purge by the Trump Administration of both professional staff and performing arts events at or originally produced by the Kennedy Center flies in the face of everything this national cultural center represents,” he added.

Seller continued, “This spirit of nonpartisanship ended on February 7, 2025, with the firing of Kennedy Center President Deborah Rutter, the Chairman of the Board David Rubenstein, and numerous other Kennedy Center board members, as well as the cancellation of important programming.”

“These actions bring a new spirit of partisanship to the national treasure that is the Kennedy Center. Given these recent actions, our show simply cannot, in good conscience, participate and be a part of this new culture that is being imposed on the Kennedy Center. Therefore, we have canceled the third engagement of Hamilton at the Kennedy Center, originally scheduled for March 3-April 26, 2026,” Seller concluded.

Meanwhile, Fox News recently shared a major career update for long-time host Dana Perino, who previously served as the White House Press Secretary under George W. Bush. The network revealed that Perino, co-anchor of “America’s Newsroom” and co-host of “The Five,” has launched a weekly podcast.

“FOX News Audio’s ‘Perino on Politics,’ which launched the same week Fox News Channel will host the first GOP presidential primary debate, will examine the 2024 election and beyond,” the network announced.

The podcast features discussions with influential figures from both inside and outside Washington, D.C., including advisors, pollsters, columnists, and political strategists. The goal is to analyze the latest campaign developments leading up to what is being widely regarded as a crucial election.

The show’s first guests included strategist Colin Reed and National Review’s senior political correspondent, Jim Geraghty, according to Fox.

Since joining Fox News in 2009, Perino has played an integral role in the network’s election coverage.

Her show, “America’s Newsroom,” co-anchored with Bill Hemmer, frequently leads its cable news timeslot, while “The Five,” which she co-hosts alongside Greg Gutfeld, Jesse Watters, and Jeanine Pirro, remains the most-watched program on cable news.

“The Five,” which has held the No. 1 spot among cable news programs for seven consecutive quarters, averaged 2.6 million viewers in July, including 254,000 in the advertiser-favored 25-54 demographic, continuing its dominant streak.
