Gabbard Moves To Terminate, Revoke Security Clearances Of NSA Employees Tied To Explicit Chatrooms

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is taking action against federal intelligence workers suspected of engaging in inappropriate discussions on an internal agency messaging platform.
Gabbard announced that any employees involved in explicit and obscene chatrooms on the National Security Agency’s (NSA) “Intelink” messaging system would face termination and the revocation of their security clearances. She also warned that further disciplinary measures might be enforced following a more in-depth review of the situation.
“There are over 100 people from across the intelligence community that contributed to and participated in… what is really just an egregious violation of trust. What to speak of, like basic rules and standards around professionalism,” Gabbard stated on “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Tuesday night. She emphasized that Trump had “told her” to investigate corruption and misconduct within the agency.
Authorities have launched an investigation into federal employees allegedly using an internal agency message board to share sexual fantasies under the guise of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
Reports indicate that researchers from the conservative Manhattan Institute obtained chat logs from the NSA’s “Intelink” platform via inside sources. These records allegedly contained discussions among intelligence personnel about hormone therapy, polyamory, pronoun preferences, and gender-transition surgeries. Agencies implicated include the Defense Intelligence Agency, U.S. Naval Intelligence, and the National Security Agency.
Following the release of the Intelink chat logs on Monday, an NSA spokesperson informed Fox News Digital that the agency was “actively investigating” potential misuse of its professional messaging system.
“We got to take a step back because this is just barely scratching the surface,” Gabbard told Fox News host Jesse Watters.
“When you see what these people were saying,… they were brazen in using an NSA platform intended for professional use to conduct this kind of really, really horrific behavior. And they were brazen in doing this because when was the last time anyone was really held accountable? Certainly not over the last four years, certainly not over the last 10, maybe 20 years, and we look at some of the biggest violations of the American people’s trust in the intelligence community.”
Previously, Gabbard condemned the behavior, labeling it as “unacceptable” and asserting on social media that “those involved WILL be held accountable.”
“These disgusting chat groups were immediately shut down when [the president] issued his EO ending the DEI insanity the Biden Admin was obsessed with,” Gabbard posted on X, formerly Twitter, Monday evening. “Our IC must be focused on our core mission: ensuring the safety, security, and freedom of the American people.”
The Manhattan Institute’s Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow, identified the chat logs as originating from DEI-focused groups on the NSA’s Intelink Messenger, named “LBTQA” and “IC_Pride_TWG.” Rufo claimed that sources who provided the logs suggested the explicit discussions were legitimized by the NSA’s DEI initiatives, which the agency has described as “not only mission critical, but mission imperative.”

The leaked messages reportedly belonged to DEI-oriented employee resource groups that activists had taken over, engaging in discussions under group names such as “Pride,” “Transgender Community Inclusion,” “Ally Awareness,” and “Privilege.”
According to the Manhattan Institute’s source, these discussions took place under headings like “Privilege,” “Ally Awareness,” and “Pride.”
Gabbard indicated that Tuesday’s disciplinary action against federal employees was just the initial step in the Trump administration’s broader plan to address public concerns.
During her Fox News interview, Gabbard vowed to dismantle these chat groups, conduct a thorough investigation, and take appropriate measures against any additional employees found to be involved.
