Hannity Goes Public with Christmas Engagement to Fox Star - 'Beautiful Couple'

Two of Fox News’ most prominent personalities used the Christmas season to share joyous personal news.

Sean Hannity, a veteran broadcaster and original member of the Fox News team since 1996, has proposed to Ainsley Earhardt, co-host of “Fox & Friends” since 2016. Fox News reported the announcement on Thursday.

The proposal took place at a particularly meaningful location for the couple — their church.

“Hannity and Earhardt have always shared a strong bond through their faith, and making the proposal at their home church was a perfect reflection of their shared values,” Fox reported. The couple also met with their minister following the engagement.

Both Hannity and Earhardt have been married before. Hannity, 62, shares two children with his ex-wife, Jill Rhodes. The two divorced in 2019 after 26 years of marriage, a split described as “amicable” by People.

Earhardt, 48, who is vocal about her Christian beliefs, has a daughter with her second husband, Will Proctor. The couple separated in 2018, and their divorce was finalized in 2019.

Rumors of the two dating first emerged in 2020, according to the New York Post. Although they work together professionally and share conservative values, they have kept their personal relationship private until now.

While speculation about their relationship never completely faded, Thursday’s announcement officially confirmed it.

As with any public announcement, reactions on social media varied. Some users offered their congratulations and well-wishes, while others, including political critics, expressed skepticism or criticism.

Conservatives often hold traditional marriage vows in high regard, and Hannity and Earhardt are both prominent figures in the conservative landscape — Earhardt on “Fox & Friends” and Hannity on his television and radio platforms.

Despite the mixed reactions, many celebrated the news, wishing the couple happiness in their future together.

Details about their wedding plans were not disclosed, but the engagement is certain to remain a topic of interest for Hannity’s audience and fans of Earhardt’s morning show.

In their announcement, the couple expressed gratitude to their families. “We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives,” they shared, according to Fox News.
