How Barron Trump Masterminded Victory - Young Trump Literally Told Dad How to Win

One of the key architects behind President-elect Donald Trump’s strategy to appeal to young male voters was his youngest son, Barron Trump.

A report from PBS highlighted that Trump secured 56 percent of the young male vote compared to Vice President Kamala Harris’s 42 percent. This lead likely came from a targeted campaign strategy aimed at reaching these voters, who, as Time describes, often get their political insights from “edgy bro podcasts and social media.”

The campaign enlisted 27-year-old Alex Bruesewitz to recommend some podcasts for Trump, but it was Barron who had the final say.

“I have a list of podcasts I wanted to pitch you on,” Bruesewitz proposed.

“Have you talked this over with Barron?” Trump asked.

“No, sir,” Bruesewitz replied.

“Call Barron and see what he thinks, then let me know,” Trump instructed.

Barron chose Adin Ross as a host, a decision that went viral and garnered millions of views, according to Time.

Trump wasn’t shy about mentioning his son’s involvement. As reported by The Cut, Trump told Ross, “My son Barron says hello. He’s a great young guy, but he’s a big fan of yours.” Trump added, “Barron says, ‘Dad he’s really big... He’s also a friend of mine.’”

These podcast appearances continued, eventually reaching over 80 million views.

The Times summarized the impact, noting Trump “had sat for hours, at Barron’s urging, with all sorts of characters that he had almost certainly never heard of, answering questions on topics ranging from drugs to fist fights to UFOs.”

Trump’s senior adviser Jason Miller praised Barron’s role, saying, “Barron has been very involved in selecting or recommending, I should say, a number of the podcasts that we should do.”

“Hats off to the young man. Every single recommendation he’s had has turned out to be absolute ratings gold that’s broken the internet,” Miller added.
