HUGE NEWS: Trump Got Exactly What He Needed

A clear majority of Democratic voters now believe President Joe Biden should end his re-election campaign after witnessing his struggles in last month's debate with former President Donald Trump, even though national polls show the race is very close.

A notable 67% of those surveyed think Biden should step aside, and 85% feel he is too old to serve a second term. Additionally, 60% of respondents also believe former President Trump is too old for another term, an increase from 44% in the spring of 2023, according to a poll by ABC News and the Washington Post.

“Among Democrats and voters who lean Democratic, 62% say Biden should withdraw from the race. Even among self-proclaimed Biden supporters, 54% think he should step aside,” Fox News reported, citing the poll results.

Despite the unfavorable poll results for Biden, the survey found that he and Trump are nearly tied. According to the poll, 46% of respondents would vote for Biden, while 47% support Trump. The poll also indicated that replacing Biden with Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee could lead to better results, with Harris receiving 49% support compared to Trump's 46%.

Make America Great Again Inc., a leading Super PAC supporting Trump's 2024 White House bid, reported raising $104 million in the second quarter of 2024, from April to June.

Additionally, MAGA Inc. noted it has nearly $114 million in cash, according to figures initially shared with Fox News on Friday.

This announcement comes shortly after Trump's campaign and the Republican National Committee disclosed raising a record $331 million over the past three months, surpassing the $264 million raised by the Democratic National Committee and President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign during the same period.

Part of Trump's fundraising success followed the former president’s historic guilty verdicts in his criminal trial this spring.

The Super PAC announced last month that it would support Trump with a $100 million summer advertising campaign in key battleground states.

This aligns with a recent Pew Research Center survey showing Trump ahead of Biden despite the latter’s poor debate performance last month.

Trump's approval rating is at 44%, compared to Biden’s 40%. Notably, Trump leads Biden by double digits on three critical issues.

Approximately 68% of participants told Pew Research they are generally dissatisfied with their presidential options.

The Pew study, released on Thursday, is the first since Biden’s disorganized and sometimes incoherent performance during the first 2024 presidential debate.

Trump holds an edge over Biden on three crucial voter issues: immigration, the economy, and international relations.

On immigration policy, Trump leads Biden by 17 points (52–35%), economic policy by 14 points (54–40%), and foreign policy by 10 points (49–39).

A Rasmussen Reports poll published last week was also bad news for both Biden and Harris. That poll showed that 55% of respondents want the president to exit the election, while 50% believe Democrats should select someone other than Harris as his replacement.

“Importantly, nearly half (48%) of Democratic voters at least somewhat agree that Biden should step aside and let the Democratic Party choose another candidate,” the poll stated.

Another poll from Cygnal also brought troubling news for the Democrats as voters criticized the president’s debate performance and expressed no confidence in the vice president.

“Post-debate, we’ve seen the largest single month-over-month movement towards Republicans across the board, from R+0 to R+4, in the history of our national polling,” Cygnal President Brent Buchanan said. “President Biden’s image worsened to 62% having an unfavorable view of him after 67% of respondents said they watched his disastrous debate performance.”

“Trump’s performance earned him 4 points from undecided debate-watchers and another 3 points from those who were Biden supporters going into the debate. There’s little question this has further eroded the political environment for Democrats,” he added.
