Hunter Biden Slapped With MAJOR Karma Days Before Dad Leaves Office
Amid the raging fires that have swept through Pacific Palisades and nearby neighborhoods in recent days, Hunter Biden's Los Angeles home has been left in ruins, reduced to ash and charred debris.
Photos of the first son's $4 million Malibu rental depict a harrowing scene, concealing its origins as a charming 1950s farmhouse with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.
On Wednesday, President Joe Biden shared with reporters that while his son was out of town during the incident, officials had indicated his home had "probably burned to the ground." Standing alongside California Governor Gavin Newsom in Santa Monica, the 82-year-old president remarked, “It’s astounding what’s happening.
My son lives out here and his wife. They got a notification yesterday their home was probably burned to the ground. Today, it appears that maybe [it’s] still standing, but I’m not sure.”
The once-idyllic property, which Hunter had listed for rent at $15,800 per month, is now a wasteland, with only two fireplace chimneys left standing amid the blackened wreckage.
Before-and-after images highlight the stark contrast between the vibrant, white-painted home surrounded by lush greenery and the desolate, ash-covered site that remains today. Hunter had reportedly spent time painting in the “guest studio with private balcony overlooking the ocean that creates the perfect artistic space,” as described in the rental listing.
Tenants also enjoyed “large windows that give the illusion of being fully immersed and in total harmony with nature” along with “mesmerizing ocean views.” Additionally, a nearby residence used by Secret Service agents assigned to protect the president’s son was also destroyed. Together, the properties cost Hunter $20,000 and $30,000 monthly, respectively.
To obtain exclusive images of Hunter’s former residence, where he reportedly awaited a federal trial on tax evasion charges, The Daily Mail visited Pacific Palisades, a coastal suburb west of Los Angeles near Santa Monica. However, last month, President Biden issued his 54-year-old son a sweeping pardon for an 11-year period during which Hunter allegedly evaded millions in taxes, effectively ending the case.
Due to Hunter’s location at the time and connections between local Democratic prosecutors and figures like Vice President Kamala Harris, Justice Department special counsel David Weiss pursued the case in Los Angeles County instead.
In 2019, while battling addiction and newly married to his wife Melissa, Hunter leased his first Southern California home for $12,000 per month. The property, featuring a gated driveway and pool, was later vacated in 2021 when the couple moved into a $4.2 million Venice Beach canal-side residence.
However, reports suggest the move came after leaving the previous property in poor condition. “Hunter and Melissa were horrible tenants. Not only did they stiff the owner for months of rent, they left the house in terrible condition,” a source involved in the cleanup claimed.
According to the source, the couple left behind broken stereo equipment, were “totally disrespectful” toward the owner—Sweetgreen CEO Jonathan Neman—and his wife, and vacated with three months of unpaid rent. The couple eventually relocated to Malibu, but not without leaving behind a trail of unpaid dues and frustrated landlords.
