Illegal Arrested In ICE Raid Floored To See Who Came Along With Agents

It Began with ICE Raids Involving Dr. Phil

In Chicago, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids have taken an unexpected turn with Dr. Phil McGraw actively participating. The well-known TV personality, and ally of President Donald Trump, has been granted exclusive access to accompany ICE officers in the field. Dr. Phil joined forces with border czar Tom Homan and a significant number of law enforcement officials during these operations.

“It’s a pretty high-risk mission that we’re going on,” Dr. Phil remarked in a video clip before heading out on one of the raids.

Interestingly, some individuals taken into custody seemed bewildered by Dr. Phil’s presence. In one instance, Dr. Phil interviewed a detainee who was the first to be arrested during the operation. The man was identified as a convicted sexual offender and online predator from Thailand. This interaction was recorded and later uploaded to X on Sunday night.

“You’ve never been deported before?” Dr. Phil inquired.

“You’re Dr. Phil?!” the man exclaimed. “You look like Dr. Phil.”

“Yeah?!” Dr. Phil responded. “How do you know me?”

“I seen you on Dr. Phil,” the man replied.

Following this exchange, Dr. Phil attempted to dig into the specifics of the man’s case. However, his efforts were cut short when the detainee declared, “I’m not gonna stand here. I want to talk to my lawyer.”

Dr. Phil continued his questioning: “You been charged with sex crimes against children?”

“Not really,” the man answered.

“Not really?” Dr. Phil said. “Never been deported?”

“Nope,” the man replied.

“Huh…” Dr. Phil muttered.

At this point, Homan instructed, “Let’s take him in, process, and lock him up,” prompting Dr. Phil and the team to pack up and move on to the next operation.

WATCH:

Before participating in deportation raids in Chicago, Dr. Phil voiced his opinion on sanctuary cities, urging them to allow ICE access to illegal immigrants.

Tom Homan, President Trump’s border czar, has vowed to conduct nationwide deportation sweeps targeting undocumented immigrants. The Trump administration plans to utilize the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to deport millions of people residing in the U.S. unlawfully.

Dr. Phil observed firsthand as ICE agents and Homan carried out operations in Chicago, a city that has positioned itself as a sanctuary city. According to Dr. Phil, if sanctuary cities cooperate with ICE, these actions could take place “in complete safety” within a “controlled environment.”

Dr. Phil Stated:

“The problem that we have with some of the pushback that ICE has been getting from sanctuary cities is they’re saying, no, we don’t want to cooperate with you. We don’t want to give you access to some of the people that we may have arrested that may be in jails. You need to go get warrants, and we may give bail to these people. We may have a no-bail situation and have them in for a time and turn them back out.

“And here’s the point that ICE has made, and I think it’s a good one. If these people are in detention and ICE agents can come into the jail and arrest them there and put them on the path toward deportation, at that point, they can do that in complete safety.

“It’s a controlled environment. Whereas tomorrow, later today actually, we’re going to have to go after these people out in a free environment where an apartment complex or an apartment project where there are a lot of civilians around. And if they resist, if they open fire on these agents, you have to return fire. Then people can get caught in the crossfire. If a car chase ensues, things can happen where people are put at risk. If they’re turned over while they’re in jail, all of that goes away.”
