Jesse Watters Blames Obama, Pelosi For Unleashing ‘Wrecking Ball’

Fox News host Jesse Watters believes that former President Obama and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have inadvertently caused chaos within their own party by backing Vice President Kamala Harris.

“The reason Kamala is the nominee is because Biden failed. Why can’t she just say, ‘I learned from his mistakes’? Catch and release wasn’t a great idea. Printing endless money—bad move. But instead, she dodges and debates like a lawyer without making any real point,” Watters remarked.

“Grow up. Accept the past and move forward. Instead, she just lies to us. Harris has tried to rewrite history in a way that doesn’t even make sense. The idea that she’s some kind of conservative who looked up to John McCain and admired Dick Cheney’s leadership is ridiculous. It’s insulting to those involved,” he continued.

“She’s alienating the left while treating the rest of us like we’re fools. Harris seems to be defeating herself. Nancy and Barack have let loose a wrecking ball. Biden was at least keeping the coalition somewhat together, but Kamala is tearing it apart. She’s lost the support of unions, Black men, and Hispanics. Once political coalitions are shattered, it’s hard to rebuild them,” Watters warned.

“She’s not just losing voters—they’re being snatched up by the opposition. These coalitions take decades to build. If Kamala loses, this ‘coup’ will have done long-term damage to the Democratic Party. It’s broken their coalition and credibility, all while burning through billions of dollars. As writer Tom Klingenstein puts it: ‘The Democratic Party is the destructive party and Kamala is the destructive leader’ … ‘This election is between one candidate who wants to destroy our country and another who wants to save it.’ Look at the harm Biden-Harris caused in just four years. Kamala has already said she wouldn’t change a thing. The country wouldn’t survive,” he argued.

Former President Obama has also contributed to losing support among Black male voters with his recent remarks, where he scolded those hesitant to support Harris.

Before his first rally for the Democratic nominee, Obama made an unplanned stop at a Harris campaign office in Pittsburgh, where he addressed Black men specifically, as reported by the Washington Post.

“My understanding from what I’m hearing from campaigns and communities is that we haven’t seen the same level of energy and turnout in certain neighborhoods and communities as when I ran,” Obama said, noting that the hesitation seemed “more pronounced with the brothers.”

Obama questioned why Black voters, particularly Black men, were undecided about whether to support Harris or former President Donald Trump.

“On one hand, you’ve got someone who grew up like you, went to college with you, understands the struggles and joys you’ve experienced,” Obama said, referencing Harris’s inconsistent policy stances. “And on the other, you have someone who has shown disregard, not just for communities like yours, but for you as a person … And you’re considering sitting this one out?” Obama added.

He went on to suggest that some Black men’s lukewarm support for Harris may stem from discomfort with the idea of a female president.

“You’re coming up with excuses, and I have an issue with that,” Obama said. “Because part of me thinks—and I’m speaking to the men here—part of me thinks that maybe you’re just not comfortable with the idea of a woman as president, and you’re using other reasons to justify it.”
