Jill’s Ex-Husband Slams First Lady, Says She’s Not Same Person He Married

Multiple sources, including political insiders and family members, have indicated that First Lady Jill Biden played a major role in supporting her husband, President Joe Biden, as he remained in the presidential race before ultimately withdrawing in June.
Jill Biden’s former husband, Bill Stevenson, claimed that she is “not the same person” he married in 1970 and suggested that she insisted on keeping her “struggling” husband in the race because “she wants to be president now.”
“The Dr. Jill Biden who I’ve seen on TV in the last five years is not the same person I married or that I recognize in any way. She’s matriculated into a completely different woman,” Stevenson told The New York Post.
Expressing his surprise, he added, “I just don’t understand why she was so adamant about defending him and keeping him in the race since it appears that he’s struggling. It appears that he’s struggling with everybody these days. I’ve been proud of her at certain moments. I have no hard feelings.”
Stevenson continued, “I’m just surprised to see her front and center in the middle of this battle after flying under the radar for so many years. She’s always been very driven. People say she’s the one who wants to be president now.”
Further criticizing Biden, Stevenson stated: “It makes me cringe every time he calls Trump a liar, because I’m telling you right now, there is no better liar than President Biden. He’s just a bad person. I’m probably one of the few people outside his family who has known him for 50 years.”
He also remarked, “Look, I’m not a doctor or a psychiatrist but yeah, I felt he lost a step three or four years ago. Now I think it’s more like a couple of steps. Do I feel badly for him? No, because he did some horrible things to me and my family.”
Last week, Joe and Jill Biden welcomed President-elect Donald Trump during a meeting at the White House.
According to sources, former First Lady Melania Trump declined an invitation from Jill Biden for the customary gathering between outgoing and incoming first ladies, reportedly due to a prior engagement related to her book.
A White House official shared that Jill Biden “gave Mr. Trump a handwritten letter of congratulations for Mrs. Trump, which also expressed her team’s readiness to assist with the transition.”

President-elect Donald Trump and President Biden had their much-anticipated meeting at the White House on Wednesday morning.
“Looking forward to having a smooth transition. Can make sure you’re accommodated, give you what you need,” President Biden told the president-elect, adding, “Welcome.”
Trump responded with gratitude, saying: “Thank you, Thank you very much. And politics is tough and it’s in many cases not a very nice world, but it is a nice world today and I appreciate very much a transition that is so smooth, it’ll be as smooth as it can get, and I very much appreciate that, Joe.”
President Biden replied, “You’re welcome.”
Biden then added: “Well, Mr. President-elect and former President Donald, congratulations, and looking forward to having a smooth transition.”
