Jim Jordan DEMANDS Nancy Pelosi Be Investigated After HORRIFIC Discovery

Republican Representative Jim Jordan from Ohio is calling for an investigation into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of the January 6 Commission, which was previously led by Democrats to examine the events at the U.S. Capitol in 2021.

During a brief conversation with CNN journalist Manu Raju, Jordan emphasized that the inquiry was essentially a "witch hunt" aimed at former President Donald Trump. He also insisted that the Commission should scrutinize Pelosi’s awareness of the events on January 6.

Below is a transcript of their exchange:

RAJU: "Mr. Jordan, what do you hope to accomplish on the Republican side of this investigation?"

JORDAN: "You know what this is about. This is about going after President Trump, you know. I mean, the Democrats, they don’t want to talk about anything else so they got to talk about this. They don’t want to talk about the crime that’s going on in every major urban area. They don’t want to talk about the crisis at the border. They don’t want to talk about the price — the fact that the price of everything has gone up, the price of eggs has went up, the price of milk has went up, the price of lumber has went up, the price of airline tickets is up, the price of used cars — everything has gone up. They don’t want to talk about all that so they’ve got to talk about how we’re going to go after President Trump for a third time."

Georgia Representative Barry Loudermilk, a Republican, revealed that House Speaker Mike Johnson has assured him that his inquiry into the events of January 6, 2021, will be "formalized as a new committee."

With Republicans in control of Congress and the White House, they are pushing forward with investigations that began in the previous legislative session.

According to Loudermilk, the details of the committee are still being finalized, but one possible approach is to grant Johnson more oversight regarding the committee’s structure (described as a "select committee") and its procedures.

The formation of this committee is expected to spotlight Loudermilk’s findings, including a report suggesting that the FBI should bring charges against former GOP Representative Liz Cheney. This move aligns with the Republican objective of blocking efforts to hold President Donald Trump accountable for the January 6 events.

"It was so singularly focused that basically Trump created this entire problem," Loudermilk said, referring to the former January 6 select committee led in part by Adam Schiff and Liz Cheney. "When in reality, it was a multitude of failures at different levels."

Johnson has publicly stated that the new investigation into January 6 will be "fully funded."

CNN reported, "Continuing its investigation into the previous January 6 select committee – which featured Cheney as a vice chair and had another Republican member – and broader security response to the Capitol attack is not the only way Republicans plan to use their new majority to carry over their previous investigations that remain politically charged."

The report also noted, "Republicans re-issued subpoenas related to special counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents and two Justice Department tax investigators who worked on the Hunter Biden case on Monday, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN. Those subpoenas would renew pursuits by the previous Congress that have been fought over in court – and not resolved – for months."

Democratic Senator Adam Schiff from California is reportedly considering rejecting a pardon that former President Joe Biden issued for himself and others involved in the Congressional probe into January 6.

Speaking on NBC’s "Meet The Press," Schiff addressed concerns about potential "blowback" from accepting a pardon. He pointed out that, during Donald Trump’s presidency, he had long maintained that accepting a pardon signified an "admission of guilt."

Biden granted clemency to a select group in a series of last-minute pardons, aimed at shielding allies from possible political retaliation by President-elect Donald Trump. However, the decision has sparked debates over its implications.

Among those pardoned were Dr. Anthony Fauci and former Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney, who co-chaired the January 6 Committee. Biden’s aides claim this measure was taken to prevent Trump or a future administration from seeking retribution.

Despite the pardons, legal analysts pointed out that neither Cheney nor Fauci are exempt from testifying under oath if subpoenaed.

Federal litigation attorney Jesse Binnall stated that Biden’s pardons do not protect them from facing legal consequences should they provide false testimony. He noted that, for those hoping to see legal action against them, the pardons could be "great news."

"The pardons are actually great news. No one who was just pardoned will be able to refuse to testify in a civil, criminal, or congressional proceeding based upon the 5th Amendment," Binnall wrote on X, before adding another observation.

"And let’s just be realistic. Most of these disgusting individuals would probably have to be charged in Washington, DC, which doesn’t convict partisan leftists," Binnall, who previously represented Donald Trump, remarked.
