Joe Biden Quietly Meets with DNC Chairman in Bid to Get 'Back In': Report

Supporters of President Donald Trump aren’t exactly accustomed to hearing favorable news from mainstream media, particularly when it concerns the Biden family.

For four years, legacy media shielded an increasingly incoherent Joe Biden as he stumbled his way around the White House, leaving conservatives understandably skeptical of any coverage related to the former president and his intentions.

But if a Friday report from NBC has it right, this might be the best news for Republicans since the November election results.

Joe Biden wants “back in.”

According to NBC, Biden has been quietly meeting with Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin and has “offered to help as the party struggles to regain its viability amid polling that shows its popularity has been sinking.”

If the Democrats’ popularity is indeed plummeting, Biden could be the anchor that drags them down even further.

The hapless figure who repeatedly humiliated America during his time in office—while benefiting from liberal media protection—now seems to think he has something to contribute to a party that abandoned him in the middle of a re-election campaign.

The “autopen president,” whose final actions included the scandalous pardon of his own criminal son along with political allies, somehow believes he holds the key to reviving a rudderless Democratic Party that floundered after Trump’s decisive victory in 2024.

To Trump supporters, the message is clear:

Bring. It. On.

Just take a look at some reactions to NBC’s X post:

One response might have summed it up best.

Perhaps the most amusing part of NBC’s report lies in how journalists Peter Nicholas, Carol E. Lee, and Megan Shannon struggled to present it with a straight face.

The article’s early sections capture the obvious reluctance within Democratic circles to welcome Biden back: “So far, Biden’s overture seems to have fallen flat,” they note, with a remarkable degree of understatement.

Then come the attempts to bolster Biden’s relevance.

Former first lady Jill Biden, we’re told, “is also prepared to campaign and raise money for fellow Democrats as she and her husband settle into life back home in Delaware, a person close to her said.”

Biden himself is reportedly working on “a theme for his memoir.” (Perhaps he could begin by recalling his own name.)

“He has been splitting his time between Delaware and Washington for meetings in office space supplied by the federal government.”

And, in what might be the most baffling claim, NBC adds that “some party activists believe Biden is an admired figure who remains a draw inside a grateful party.”

Sure, there may be some Democrats who are “grateful” to Biden—after all, his chaotic presidency allowed left-wing factions to push costly spending initiatives that undercut his campaign image as a so-called “moderate.”

But it’s hard to imagine Biden as an “admired” figure outside the confines of his Wilmington, Delaware, home—if even there.

To Republicans and conservatives, Biden represents a corrupt, opportunistic frontman for a party that weakened the U.S. economy, alienated allies, and cozied up to hostile nations.

To Democrats, he’s the face of their crushing 2024 defeat to Trump—a political figure they’ve despised for years. And now he believes he can help spark a Democratic resurgence?

More likely, Biden’s reappearance will deepen the divisions within an already splintered party.

Conservatives may not rely on mainstream media for good news, but if NBC’s report is accurate, this might be as good—and as hilariously ironic—as it gets.
