Judge Issues Sinister Move Against Trump Regarding Son Barron
The jury selection process for "former president Donald Trump’s criminal trial" commenced on Monday at a Lower Manhattan courthouse, marking his inaugural criminal trial despite being a former US president and a potential candidate for the next election.
Expressing frustration, Trump addressed the court's warning from Judge Juan Merchan about attending his son Barron’s high school graduation, stating, “We had some amazing things happen today. As you know, my son has graduated from high school. And it looks like the judge will not let me go through the graduation of my son, who’s worked very, very hard.” Trump criticized this as part of what he labeled a “scam trial” and a “political witch hunt.”
Regarding the trial itself, Trump dismissed it as a "scam trial," citing legal experts who oppose its validity. He also tied the prohibition of attending his son's graduation to an upcoming significant event before the United States Supreme Court, referring to a crucial hearing on immunity.
Judge Juan Merchan's ruling excluded the controversial “Access Hollywood” tape from the trial, where Trump made disparaging comments about women, adding an element of suspense. Despite this exclusion, testimony from individuals allegedly associated with Trump, including a model claiming an affair, is allowed. Furthermore, prosecutors seek reprimand for Trump allegedly violating a gag order.
Trump lamented his absence from campaign activities in states like Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina, attributing it to favorable conditions for "radical left Democrats." He reiterated his stance that the situation is “about election interference,” a narrative he has repeatedly emphasized since the 2020 presidential election.
Additionally, Trump's fundraising committees, including the Save America Joint Fundraising Committee, are set to disclose their finances on Monday. These committees, known for their significant fundraising capabilities, are expected to reveal details about expenditures and contributions, shedding light on the financial dynamics of Trump's campaign and affiliated organizations.
