Kevin O’Leary Warns Kamala Will Do To U.S. What Trudeau Did to Canada
“Shark Tank” star and investment adviser Kevin O’Leary is warning that Vice President Kamala Harris, if she becomes president, will be akin to Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, an uber-leftist who has presided over a dramatic decline in his country’s status and economy.
O’Leary shared his thoughts during a Friday interview on NewsNation, describing Harris as the “it kid” but criticized her as a “blank sheet of paper” on policy positions, despite her having held several extreme left-wing views during her unsuccessful 2020 presidential campaign.
“I don’t blame her for not bringing up policy. She should just rant and rave, saying ‘I’m not Trump’ until August 7 because she’s raising so much money,” he remarked. “But then, she’s got to talk policy, and I don’t know what that looks like, and nobody does because she’s like a blank sheet of paper.”
He drew a parallel with Trudeau, the last “it kid” in Western policies.
“There’s an example of an ‘it kid’ up in Canada a few years ago, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau,” he said. “Nobody looked at his background. Nobody looked at his policies. He was the ‘it kid.’ That country is on its knees! He wiped it out!”
“Are Americans basically going to hire or basically bring a president that’s another Justin Trudeau?” he questioned. “I hope not.”

Shortly after taking office, President Joe Biden branded his administration as the “Biden-Harris administration,” signifying her significant role in his White House. Critics argue that she must own up to the poor policies implemented under this administration, which have resulted in high inflation and interest rates, higher food and gasoline prices, a chaotic southwestern border, and now, fears of a new recession.
Recently, the jobless rate unexpectedly rose to its highest level in over three years, as U.S. job creation sharply declined in July.
According to Labor Department data released on Friday, employers added 114,000 jobs in July, significantly below the 175,000 gain predicted by LSEG economists. Additionally, the jobless rate unexpectedly increased to 4.3% from 4.1%, despite predictions that it would remain steady.
“It marked the highest level for the jobless rate since October 2021,” Fox Business reported.
“Temperatures might be hot around the country, but there’s no summer heatwave for the job market,” said ManpowerGroup North America president Becky Frankiewicz. “With across-the-board cooling, we have lost most of the gains we saw from the first quarter of the year.”
Meanwhile, a prominent conservative legal organization has launched multiple investigations into Vice President Kamala Harris’s tenure as a prosecutor and attorney general in California as she begins her presidential campaign, which is largely based on her reputation for being “tough on crime.”
“From locking up parents whose children had chronically missed school to supporting a bail fund that let violent Black Lives Matter rioters out of jail in 2020, Harris’ approach to criminal justice is facing fresh scrutiny,” Fox News reported last week, citing the newly launched investigation by America First Legal. The group alleges that Harris “has proven to be the most radically progressive Vice President in American history.”
“A lot of her tough on crime reputation goes to her prosecution when she was San Francisco DA, individuals who use marijuana and other sorts of things,” Dan Epstein, president of AFL, told Fox News Digital. “Our investigation, however, makes it very clear that Kamala Harris does not believe much in terms of statutes passed by legislatures, including the Federal United States Congress, as well as the state of California.”
