Leftists Have Sickening Response After Conservative Actor James Woods' Home Burns in California Fire

The true nature of a "deranged leftist's" soul often reveals itself during moments that call for fundamental human decency.
Thankfully, with President-elect Donald Trump's impending return to the presidency, we can confidently anticipate relegating such individuals to the periphery of society.
On Wednesday, the social media platform X became a battleground as leftist voices showcased indifference—or even outright glee—upon hearing that conservative actor James Woods had lost his home in the devastating southern California wildfires.
“I couldn’t believe our lovely little home in the hills held on this long,” Woods posted. “It feels like losing a loved one.”
All the smoke detectors are going off in our house and transmitting to our iPhones.

I couldn’t believe our lovely little home in the hills held on this long. It feels like losing a loved one.
Unfortunately, Woods' post was met with mockery instead of compassion from certain leftist corners, including one professor who seemed plucked straight from central casting.
Karen Piper, a Professor Emerita in the University of Missouri’s English Department, ridiculed the actor in a now-deleted X post, which many users had the foresight to screenshot. Piper wrote, “James Woods’ house is burning down. It’s karma calling.”

Interestingly, as of Wednesday afternoon, Piper’s faculty profile on the University of Missouri’s website displayed a “not authorized to access” error message. Furthermore, her name was conspicuously absent from the department's Emeritus Faculty directory.
However, a patriotic X user named “Spitfire” preserved a screenshot of Piper’s faculty page. The page noted her research and teaching interests as “[p]ostcolonial studies and ‘development’ theory; globalization; environmental discourse and policy,” and something she called “climate change fiction.”

Piper was not alone, as other leftists echoed her sentiment online.
So I hear James Woods house is on fire? Hello Karma.... pic.twitter.com/nWBEg6MQAd

James Woods house is burning. I suppose he will blame that loss on democrats like he did his career 🤔

Fortunately, there were users on X who refused to remain silent in the face of such heartlessness.
One user, for example, highlighted Trump’s election victory as proof that most Americans reject the "screeching, mindless hate" exemplified by such comments.
“The majority of Americans voted no to your brand of screeching, mindless hate. Take a good, long hard look in the mirror. That’s pure evil what you said!” the user declared.
I pray that you don’t get what a lot of people are wishing you’d get: a taste of your own hateful medicine.

Another pointed out the hypocrisy by referencing leftist actor Mark Hamill, who also had to evacuate due to the wildfires.
“So is Mark Hamill’s, is that Karma too?? What an idiotic take,” the user wrote.

Perhaps the most striking response came from a user who replied to Piper’s post with a short video clip of a man risking his safety to save a rabbit from the wildfire near a California highway.
“Karen – this is what humanity looks like,” the user captioned.

The question remains: how has society reached a point where some show more empathy for a random animal than for fellow humans who happen to hold differing political views?
Of course, Trump’s victory serves as a stark reminder that "screeching leftists" likely have far fewer allies than they would like to believe.
