Masks Coming Back in Blue States as Tyrants Hope 'Quad-Demic' Will Scare People Into Submission

The phenomenon of petty tyranny could easily consume the careers of countless historians and psychologists trying to understand it.

Regardless of the reasons behind it, there’s reassurance in knowing that many Americans have already recognized and resisted it.

According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, Democrat-led states are once again turning to mask mandates, citing concerns over what — here it comes — “experts believe” could escalate into a “quad-demic” — a “surge of four winter viruses, including Covid and the flu.”

A “quad-demic,” really? One can almost envision the CNN ticker now.

In New Jersey, RWJBarnabas Health, the state’s largest hospital system, reinstated its mask requirement earlier this week.

Similarly, several counties in the San Francisco Bay Area have extended mask mandates through April 2025.

Meanwhile, hospitals in New York state haven’t officially brought back mandates but are advising indoor masking. New York City health officials have echoed this suggestion for public transit users.

Despite these developments, there are positive signs.

For example, Dr. Marc Lashley from Long Island noted a decline in flu vaccine uptake.

“I’m very concerned that the flu vaccine rate has dropped. It’s really plummeted,” Lashley shared.

Could this reflect backlash from the unrelenting push for the COVID “vaccine”? Perhaps Americans have started questioning the narrative after realizing the inconsistencies.

The flu vaccine might genuinely do more good than harm. It’s possible. However, the relentless overreach during the COVID crisis has left the scientific and medical establishment struggling to regain public trust.

And does anyone seriously believe that masks were effective? The bizarre routines — like entering a restaurant masked, removing it to eat, and then putting it back on to leave — now seem absurd and infuriating in hindsight. Why did we accept such nonsense?

Even Anthony Fauci has acknowledged that the six-foot social distancing rule lacked scientific justification.

Thankfully, many Americans have learned to recognize these tactics and have vowed never to comply again.

Take, for instance, California Governor Gavin Newsom, infamous for his hypocrisy during the COVID era. This week, he declared a “State of Emergency” over “bird flu,” sparking immediate backlash.

Supporters of President-elect Donald Trump were quick to criticize Newsom on the platform X.

The popular account Libs of TikTok, with over 3.8 million followers, called it “COVID all over again.”

Investigative journalist Laura Loomer wrote, “Get ready for another plandemic.”

Liz Churchill, a frequent critic of vaccine proponent Bill Gates, resurfaced a 2020 photo of Newsom dining maskless at a restaurant, exposing his double standards.

In short, whether it involves masks, vaccines, or sweeping declarations of “emergency,” Americans have caught on. And this time, they’re resolved not to comply.
