Melania Trump Teases Memoir: ‘I Feel A Responsibility To Clarify The Facts’
Former First Lady Melania Trump is hinting at the release of her memoir, stating that after years of "public scrutiny and misrepresentation," she is ready to reveal "the truth."
“Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me,” Trump said in a video posted on social media on Thursday.
“As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts,” she added, ahead of the October 1 release of her book titled Melania.
"I believe it is important to share my perspective: the truth,” Trump said directly to the camera.
The 54-year-old former model, who married former President Donald Trump in 2005, first announced the upcoming memoir in July. Skyhorse Publishing, which is handling the book, described it as an “intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life” in its promotional material.
The memoir is expected to include “stories and images never before shared with the public,” according to the publisher.

In other news, Donald Trump recently shared a surprising moment involving his youngest son, Barron Trump, who learned about an attempt on his father’s life while at a tennis lesson.
During an interview with Fox News’ Mark Levin, Trump recounted how Barron was informed about the incident while on the tennis court.
“He’s a good tennis player. And someone came running up, saying, ‘Barron! Barron! Your father’s been shot,’” Trump recalled, mentioning that Barron immediately rushed to find out what happened. “He loves his father. He’s a good kid, a good student. And he ran, ‘Mom! What’s going on? What’s going on?’”
Melania Trump, the former First Lady, was watching the July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the assassination attempt occurred, as it unfolded live. “She was watching it live. Can you imagine? Then I got up and let people know I was okay. Fight. Fight. Fight. But it was a big hit,” Trump explained.
In a previous Fox News interview, Trump talked about Melania’s reaction: “When I asked her what she felt in that moment, she said she couldn’t even talk about it, which is fine because that means she cares about me,” Trump remarked.
Later in the same interview, Trump mentioned that after the incident, his son, Donald Trump Jr., who is “great with guns,” expressed disbelief at how the shooter, Matthew Crooks, missed the shot. “I can’t believe it. From that distance… I can’t believe it,” Don Jr. reportedly told him.
“Alluding to the shooter’s precision, Trump said, ‘From that distance, it’s supposed to be a sure thing. Like sinking a one-foot putt.’ He added that he was showing a chart of border crossing statistics when the shot was fired. ‘If I had turned just a little bit more or less,’ he said, ‘it could have been the end.’”
This summer has brought many changes for Barron Trump.
Recently, Barron was spotted heading to his first day at New York University’s Stern School of Business in Manhattan. Photos shared by the New York Post captured him stepping out of a car, accompanied by Secret Service agents, at NYU’s campus in downtown Manhattan.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the former president proudly said, “He’s a very smart guy, and he’ll be attending Stern, the business school, which is a great school at NYU.”
Donald Trump has previously mentioned the possibility of Barron attending the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Tiffany Trump all graduated. Eric Trump, on the other hand, attended Georgetown.
