‘Morning Joe’ Co-Hosts Change Their Tune on Trump in Shocking Way

‘Morning Joe’ Co-Hosts Change Their Tune on Trump in Shocking Way

The left is riddled with hypocrisy.

You probably already realize that, but it’s a point that needs constant reiteration to sink in.

Otherwise, the left pulls the kind of stunt that MSNBC’s “Morning” Joe Scarborough tried to pull recently.

Scarborough, once a Republican and now a Democratic advocate, along with his co-host-turned-wife Mika Brzezinski, made a surprising disclosure on Monday’s “Morning Joe” episode.

The couple admitted they had a friendly and open conversation with President-elect Donald Trump — yes, the very person they’ve condemned as “fascism” in human form and whose remarks they’ve described as “breathtakingly dangerous.”

To draw a leftist parallel, it’s almost like sitting down for tea with Adolf Hitler, right?

But with the far-left ideology getting trounced in the 2024 election, Scarborough and Brzezinski seem unbothered by the blatant contradiction, rushing to Trump under the pretense of extending an olive branch.

Take a look at this bizarre behavior, covered ironically by CNN’s Brian Stelter:

“Joe and I went to Mar-a-Lago to meet personally with President-elect Trump,” Brzezinski revealed Monday.

(She clarified that they had this meeting with Trump last Friday.)

Brzezinski also mentioned: “It was the first time we have seen him in seven years.”

Scarborough elaborated: “We discussed numerous topics, like abortion, mass deportation, and threats of political retribution against opponents and media outlets. We really dove into those issues.

“And, unsurprisingly to anyone familiar with our show over the past year or decade, we disagreed on many things, and we made that clear to him,” Scarborough added.

Brzezinski then chimed in, saying, “What we did agree on was to restart communications.”

She described Trump as “cheerful” and “upbeat” during the meeting. To be fair, a Fox News article did indicate that Trump greeted them warmly.

Still, Trump’s gracious reception doesn’t mean the rest of us have to follow suit. Frankly, Scarborough and Brzezinski come across as opportunistic, cozying up to the “winning side.”

Why? Just take a look at what followed their announcement:

Despite claiming that top Democrats have told Scarborough, “It’s time for a new approach,” the “Morning Joe” host spent the remainder of the segment backpedaling like a cautious centrist, stressing that he and his wife aren’t attempting to “defend or normalize” Trump.

According to that Fox News report, Trump may be taking a more diplomatic stance with the media, even with the mainstream outlets. He surely has his own reasons for doing so.

Yet, the media’s nature hasn’t changed, and “Morning Joe” is a prime example.

Scarborough, Brzezinski, and their peers have spent years yelling at the top of their lungs that Trump, his followers, and everything related to them are threats to democracy and global decency.

But now, after a clear rejection of establishment media’s narrative by voters, these same media figures want to extend a hand and call for “a new approach from all sides”? Because one side claimed a sweeping victory? Please.

It’s cowardly — and undeniably hypocritical — behavior, and it deserves to be exposed.
