Musk, Presler Rally GOP Voters In Crucial Wisconsin Election to Keep House Majority

DOGE chief Elon Musk and Republican activist Scott Presler are making a strong push to drive GOP voter turnout for an upcoming Supreme Court election in Wisconsin, a critical battleground state where the Republican majority in the U.S. House is on the line.

America PAC, a political action committee established by SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk to support President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, has committed $1 million to assist conservative Supreme Court candidate Brad Schimel with canvassing and field operations.

Another Musk-supported organization, Building America’s Future, has invested $1.5 million in advertisements advocating for the conservative candidate.

Schimel’s rival in the race is liberal judge Susan Crawford, and the outcome will determine the ideological balance of Wisconsin’s highest court.

The stakes are high, as a victory for Crawford would sustain the court’s existing 4-3 liberal majority. This could lead to justices endorsing a redistricting plan that would potentially strip Republicans of at least two U.S. House seats, possibly shifting control of the chamber to Democrats in 2026.

With a Democrat governor and a Republican-controlled legislature, the Wisconsin Supreme Court "is the center of the action," according to Barry Burden, a political scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, who told CNN last month, "It’s become a place where a lot of hot-button issues people care about get decided."

Meanwhile, Presler—credited with aiding Pennsylvania’s Republican gains in the last election by registering tens of thousands of new GOP voters—is warning of a repeat scenario similar to Wisconsin’s 2023 Supreme Court election. In that race, liberal-leaning Janet Protasiewicz defeated conservative Dan Kelly, shifting the court’s balance to the left.

“I tried to warn people in 2023, and here is what I’m saying now: if Wisconsinites don’t pay attention to this race, history is going to repeat itself, and you’re going to have this court stay under Democrat control,” Presler told Breitbart News on Friday.

The election is set for April 1.

Presler, through his organization Early Vote Action, which focuses on GOP voter registration and promoting early voting in swing states, has been actively stressing the importance of the race online. He announced his plans to spend two weeks in Wisconsin, dedicating his time to securing a Republican win in the Supreme Court election.

“There is no party affiliation on the court, but we all can read in between the lines,” Presler stated, labeling Crawford a “radical, rabid leftist.”

Presler underscored that one of the most critical issues in the race is the possibility of Democrats redrawing legislative districts if Crawford wins, potentially flipping two U.S. House seats currently held by Republicans. The districts under threat include Rep. Bryan Steil’s (R-WI) 1st Congressional District in southeastern Wisconsin and Rep. Derrick Van Orden’s (R-WI) 3rd Congressional District in the western part of the state.

“It’s not just the Wisconsin Supreme Court,” Presler emphasized to Breitbart. “It’s potentially taking the House majority away from Republicans, therefore stalling President Trump and taking away his ability to govern and legislate.”

Musk has also acknowledged the race’s significance, along with Presler’s dedication. “This is important,” Musk stated in a tweet on Feb. 27 regarding the election and Presler’s work to flip the court seat.

“I always believe that victory begets victory. I think we have a much more likelihood of winning these off-year Supreme Court elections, in part, because of our victory in 2024,” Presler told Breitbart. “This is a base-turnout election. If we get Trump voters out, then Brad Schimel will be our next Supreme Court justice.”
