Pirro Says She’s ‘Not Well’ After Listing Numerous Harris Flip-Flops

Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro sharply criticized Vice President Kamala Harris following what she called a "trainwreck" of an interview on CNN, along with Harris’s running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

During the segment, Pirro and fellow Fox host Sean Hannity dissected the interview, focusing on several policy reversals by Harris. They speculated that these shifts were attempts to make her appear more moderate and electable, rather than aligned with the more radical left.

Hannity kicked off the discussion by highlighting Harris's change in stance on fracking. He played a clip from the CNN interview where Harris, once a vocal opponent of hydraulic fracturing, now stated she was not in favor of banning the technique used for oil extraction. CNN's Dana Bash had pressed Harris on her previous stance from 2019, when she had unequivocally supported a ban on fracking. Harris now responded: “I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020 that I would not abandon fracking as vice president.”

Bash, seeking clarification, pointed out Harris's earlier comments advocating for a federal ban. Harris reiterated that her stance had been clear in 2020 and had not changed since.

CNN later fact-checked Harris’s claim, noting that during her 2020 campaign, she had not expressed support for fracking. Both Hannity and Pirro criticized Harris for what they saw as a blatant inconsistency. Hannity further highlighted Harris’s changing positions on other issues, including the prosecution of illegal border crossings and her defense of the administration's economic record.

Pirro, visibly frustrated, responded by accusing Harris of dishonesty: “What is she talking about? She is lying, no question.” Pirro expressed disbelief at Harris’s attempt to distance herself from her earlier positions on fracking.

CNN’s fact-checker Daniel Dale also weighed in on Harris’s remarks. He confirmed that during her 2019 campaign, Harris had unequivocally supported a ban on fracking and that she had not publicly shifted her stance during the 2020 presidential debates. Dale noted that the only debate Harris participated in that year was against then-Vice President Mike Pence, during which she did not retract her earlier position.

Dale concluded that Harris’s claim about clarifying her stance in 2020 was inaccurate, further intensifying the scrutiny over her shifting positions.
