Radical Dem Gets In Brutal Physical Brawl With Fox Reporter

When “Squad” Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and other Democratic officials chose to remain seated during some of President Donald Trump’s most bipartisan moments, a determined Fox News correspondent refused to back down—even when faced with physical resistance.

As Republicans applauded Laken Riley’s mother and Trump’s commitment to keeping biological men out of women’s sports, Johnny Belisario, reporting live from the U.S. Capitol on Thursday, pressed Democrats for answers about their refusal to stand, capturing their stony expressions on camera.

Frustrated by the relentless questioning, Democratic lawmakers hurried toward elevators and office doors, attempting to escape Belisario’s inquiries. However, Omar, appearing the most aggravated, took matters into her own hands. As Belisario approached, she shoved him away from the elevator doors.

“You need to move,” the congresswoman snapped while pushing the reporter back and shutting the doors. “Have a good day! I need to go to a meeting.”

Other Democrats, such as Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey and Rep. Adam Schiff of California, defended their refusal to stand, claiming the president offered nothing worthy of applause. This included ignoring the presence of Laken Riley’s grieving parents and DJ Daniel, the 13-year-old cancer survivor whom Trump honored as an honorary Secret Service agent.

“The president got before the American people and didn’t talk about how he’ll drive down grocery prices,” Booker said as he briskly walked away. Schiff (D-CA) dismissed Trump’s speech altogether, stating, “There was nothing the president said that was factual or truthful,” before slipping into a private room behind his staff.

Some lawmakers refused to acknowledge the situation entirely.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, or where you got that information,” said Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota when asked why she remained seated throughout Trump’s address.

In one bizarre moment, Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), who uses a wheelchair, appeared to mock the question of supporting “women in sports.”

“Shorts? They should not be in shorts,” Cohen said, rocking back and forth in his wheelchair as he wheeled into an elevator, pretending not to understand the inquiry.

Not every Democrat dismissed concerns so easily. Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman acknowledged that his party’s conduct on live television “did not have the best look.”

A week after the speech, Fetterman criticized his fellow Democrats on social media.

“A sad cavalcade of self-owns and unhinged petulance. It only makes Trump look more presidential and restrained. We’re becoming the metaphorical car alarms that nobody pays attention to—and it may not be the winning message,” he posted on X.

Throughout Trump’s address, some Democratic lawmakers displayed banners with messages such as “FALSE,” “SAVE MEDICAID,” “PROTECT VETERANS,” and “MUSK STEALS.” Texas Democrat Rep. Al Green stood up early in the speech, declaring that Trump lacked a “mandate” from the people. House Speaker Mike Johnson swiftly ordered him to leave the floor.

While some Democrats walked out during Trump’s speech, others opted not to attend at all.

“The Democrats should lose the Midterms based on their behavior at last night’s Joint Address to Congress,” Trump wrote in a Wednesday post on Truth Social.

Trump further emphasized, “Republicans should utilize the footage provided on the total disrespect they showed to all of those that were honored that night, including young ladies who were killed by illegal migrants, people with terminal cancer, etc. They didn’t even have the common courtesy to stand, smile, or applaud. This could be, on analyzing the full tape of this Historic Event, your full CAMPAIGN TO VICTORY! In other words, Republicans can take what happened last night, and win any Race in the Country.”
