Rosie O'Donnell's Daughter Arrested After Police Find Horrifying Conditions in Home: Report

Rosie O'Donnell's eldest daughter is now facing several charges following two separate incidents with the law in recent weeks.

“Chelsea is in the news today,” Rosie O’Donnell shared on Instagram.

“[S]adly this is not new for our family – chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade – we r all hopeful she will find her way out of this deadly disease,” the post read.

As reported by In Touch, Chelsea O'Donnell, 27, was formally charged in September with four felony counts, including maintaining a drug trafficking house, child neglect, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of THC. She also faces two misdemeanor charges: disorderly conduct/domestic abuse and possession of unauthorized prescription drugs.

On September 10, Wisconsin police were called to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office after receiving a report from O’Donnell that appeared to come during a domestic disturbance.

The police report noted the appalling state of the home, stating: "The living conditions in the house were horrible."

Officers detailed the scene, saying, “The inside of the home was disgusting; throughout the house I saw rotten food, dirty moldy dishes, milk that stunk so bad it almost made me puke, dirty diapers, used female hygiene products, unclean underwear with feces and blood stains and used razor blades on the floor.”

A search of the home revealed a "used meth pipe and a gem bag with meth," according to the report.

Shockingly, hypodermic needles were found in the room of O'Donnell's 11-month-old child, with some of the needles appearing used and containing dried blood.

Beneath the baby’s crib, officers discovered a black and silver digital scale, used gem bags coated with white residue, and a sharps container holding more used and unused needles. A pile of clothes also concealed a straw that had been cut and burned, the report said.

A second officer’s report described the child’s room as littered with “old apples, garbage, random tools, and butane bottles sitting on the floor, all mixed with the clothing belonging to [the child].” A meth pipe, “that a small child could have easily grabbed,” was also present.

As officers arrested O'Donnell, she eventually handed over a vial containing what police identified as methamphetamine.

Authorities also found evidence suggesting drug trafficking, including a pot likely used for cooking meth.

On October 11, O'Donnell was pulled over by law enforcement again.

According to the police, she tried to throw what they believed was a meth pipe into a river, but it hit a fence. She later retrieved items hidden in her bra.

“Chelsea removed a what I know through my training and experience to be a meth pipe, as well as a pill bottle with various pills, and a baggie of a crystalline substance I know to be Methamphetamine,” the report stated.

In this case, O’Donnell was charged with three more felonies, including possession of meth, bail jumping, and possession of narcotics, along with several misdemeanors.

According to Us Weekly, she remains in custody, with court hearings on both cases scheduled for November.
