Schiff May Be Targeted By FBI For Alleged Role In ‘Trump-Russia Collusion’ Hoax

Sen. Adam Schiff, who was a leading proponent of the widely discredited claim that President Donald Trump “colluded” with Russian President Vladimir Putin to “steal” the 2016 election, may now find himself under FBI scrutiny for his alleged role in advancing that narrative.

Newly appointed FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino specifically mentioned the California Democrat in one of his final podcasts before President Donald Trump revealed last weekend that he had chosen the former Secret Service agent and NYPD officer for the position.

“Why is Adam Schiff so worried? I strongly encourage you to go back and take another look today at the Russia collusion hoax,” Bongino stated during his discussion.

Acknowledging that the topic is now several years old, Bongino clarified: “I’m gonna be straight with you. I don’t wanna move on.”

“We had the FBI working alongside the Department of Justice, officials in Congress, foreign governments, and intelligence personnel to fabricate a story, to invent a narrative that could have caused significant, long-lasting damage to international relations with a nuclear-powered adversary. It’s kind of a big freakin’ deal,” Bongino elaborated.

“Listen to me — this is gonna be very important in the coming days,” he continued, seemingly hinting at his upcoming FBI appointment. “I’m not letting this go. I wanna find out what happened because it can never happen again. Not to a Democrat. Not a Republican. Not to a Libertarian. Not to any United States citizen,” he declared.

“You do not get to alter or try to change the course of electoral politics by fabricating a story, hijacking the justice system, then to give the patina of truth to a fake story,” he emphasized.

“You don’t get to do that. Why do I bring that up now? Because who was the ringmaster of that circus? Yes, Adam Schiff, and no, I’m not letting it go,” Bongino added.

During an emotional address on Monday morning, Bongino informed his audience that he would no longer be commenting on politics, stating that he was “focused on getting to work” at the FBI.

“It’s not going to be the last show, but we’ve only got a few more left with you,” Bongino told viewers. “So, obviously, we’re going to be working with a team of people to make this transition from me, political commentator Dan, to Deputy Director of the FBI Dan.”

“Those are different roles that require different skills. Skills I have and have used before and I plan to use again. It’s going to hurt to leave you,” he admitted.

Bongino reassured his supporters that his departure wouldn’t impact the content his wife and daughters create, as they have played a significant role in managing his brand.

“I’ll discuss over the course of the coming days, I’ll be with you for a little bit longer on radio and on my show, I will discuss exactly what’s going to happen. My wife has been running the business for a long time. I don’t get involved with the business at all. I do the talking,” Bongino explained.

“The FBI belongs to the American people. It doesn’t belong to me. It doesn’t belong to anyone else but the American people. But this is the honor of a lifetime, and it’s a serious mission. And I plan on implementing that vision,” Bongino concluded.
