Schiff Whines About Trump, Musk Calling Him A ‘Criminal’
California Democrat Sen. Adam Schiff had an on-camera outburst, lashing out at President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk.
Expressing his frustration over being labeled a “criminal,” Schiff insisted that Democrats must “fight” and show “courage.”
“We need to speak out. We need to be courageous. They come after me all the time. Elon Musk and Donald Trump, they call me a criminal, they call me a traitor. Their MAGA minions online come after me to try to intimidate me, to create fear,” Schiff declared in a video shared on Musk’s X platform.
Taking his rhetoric a step further, Schiff used profanity and drew a bold comparison between his battle with Trump and Musk and the challenges faced by military personnel in active combat.
“I’ll tell you my response. My response to that is ‘screw you and the horse you rode in on.’ I hope that is your response, too. We must not give in to this climate of fear. We are Americans. If our troops can face the bullets and the missiles and the dangers of combat, then sure enough, we can be courageous at home,” he stated.
However, Schiff omitted the context behind why Trump, Musk, and others refer to him as a criminal.
Conservatives have intensified their push to hold Schiff legally responsible for his involvement in advancing the now-discredited claim that Trump was a puppet of Russian President Vladimir Putin during his first term.
The widely promoted “Russian collusion” allegation, championed by Schiff and echoed by media figures, underwent multiple investigations by the House and independent prosecutors, including former U.S. Attorney John Durham and ex-FBI Director Robert Mueller.
Yet, every inquiry reached the same conclusion—there was no evidence to substantiate the accusation. Meanwhile, separate probes exposed efforts to pin the false narrative on Trump in an attempt to weaken his presidency and obstruct his foreign policy agenda.
“REMINDER: Adam Schiff was ONLY pardoned for J6 committee-related offenses NOT the Russia hoax. Not election interference. Nothing else. Kash is going to take this criminal down. Watch. The Hammer of Justice is coming, Pencil Neck Schiff,” conservative influencer Nick Sorter posted on X.
Additionally, former Secret Service agent and conservative commentator Dan Bongino—who Trump has reportedly selected to serve as the FBI’s deputy director—delivered a cryptic warning to Schiff during one of his final broadcasts before the president’s expected announcement.
“Why is Adam Schiff so worried? I strongly encourage you to go back and take another look today at the Russia collusion hoax,” Bongino said in a late-February segment.
Though the story is several years old, Bongino made it clear he isn’t ready to move on.
“I’m gonna be straight with you. I don’t wanna move on,” he stated.
Expanding on his point, Bongino noted: “We had the FBI in conjunction with the Department of Justice, officials in Congress, foreign governments and intel people fabricate a story, invent a story that could have caused and done serious long-term harm to international relations with a nuclear-powered foe. It’s kind of a big freakin’ deal.”
Signaling that more developments could be on the way, Bongino emphasized: “Listen to me — this is gonna be very important in the coming days.”
Hinting at a potential new role, he added, “I’m not letting this go. I wanna find out what happened because it can never happen again. Not to a Democrat. Not a Republican. Not to a Libertarian. Not to any United States citizen.”
“You do not get to alter or try to change the course of electoral politics by fabricating a story hijacking the justice system then to give the patina of truth to a fake story,” Bongino continued. “You don’t get to do that. Why do I bring that up now? Because who was the ringmaster of that circus? Yes, Adam Schiff, and no, I’m not letting it go,” he concluded.
