Second Husband Doug Emhoff Admits To Affair With Nanny

Stunning family secrets have emerged that could impact Vice President Kamala Harris's presidential campaign.

Doug Emhoff, Harris's husband, has admitted to having a salacious affair with his child’s nanny during his first marriage, as reported by The Daily Mail.

“During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions. I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side,” Emhoff told CNN.

The nanny involved, who Conservative Brief is not naming, did not deny the affair when approached by The Daily Mail. When confronted by reporters at her home in the Hamptons, she only commented, “I’m kind of freaked out right now.”

“A close friend with direct knowledge of the affair and pregnancy told DailyMail.com that Naylor did not keep the child – though her social media shows a video of a mysterious baby girl named Brook in 2009, the year the baby would have been born,” The Daily Mail reported.

Another friend, who had twin boys around the same time Naylor was expecting, also did not deny the claims but refused to provide further information without Naylor’s permission.

The revelation is causing significant concern within Harris’s campaign, especially as she has recently overtaken Donald Trump in several polls and is intensifying her efforts to win over voters in November.

Emhoff’s first wife, Kerstin Emhoff, spoke to CNN in support of her ex-husband and his current wife.

“Doug and I decided to end our marriage for a variety of reasons, many years ago. He is a great father to our kids, continues to be a great friend to me and I am really proud of the warm and supportive blended family Doug, Kamala, and I have built together,” she said.

After a video surfaced of Republican vice-presidential nominee and Ohio Sen. JD Vance criticizing Harris for not having her own children, Kerstin Emhoff defended Harris again, describing her as “loving, nurturing, fiercely protective, and always present.”

“These are baseless attacks. For over 10 years, since Cole and Ella were teenagers, Kamala has been a co-parent with Doug and I,” she told CNN in July.

Commenting before the news of the affair broke, Jesse Watters on Thursday agreed with his panel's assessment that Harris's race against Trump would be much closer than it should be due to media bias favoring the VP.

“It’s going to be close. And if we had a fair press, this would be a landslide. Democrats would never win another national election again if we had a fair press. Three months before the election, this woman comes out, and she has a record that says I want to get rid of ICE, private health care, guns, and then says, actually, I don’t believe any of that,” Watters said.

“And it’s like Trump coming out tomorrow and saying we are not going to do the wall, and we are going to raise taxes. What? No! And so the media usually would be curious. Why? What happened here? No. They are scrubbing the internet of this stuff. And then they are censoring pictures of Donald Trump in searches for Donald Trump. And the Democratic Party doesn’t even care,” he added.
