Secret Plan Detailing Trump’s First 180 Days in Office Panics Joe Biden
Conservatives gearing up for another Donald Trump presidency have initiated an unprecedented and highly focused effort to maximize his potential second term, should he win in November.
According to a report, “The movement, named Project 2025, announced this week it had the backing of 100 conservative groups, including the most established and well-funded institutions inside Washington, D.C.”
Project 2025 focuses on four main areas:
- Creating a database of conservatives and Trump loyalists to quickly fill positions in the executive branch.
- Providing preemptive training for these appointees to ensure they can take immediate action once in office.
- Developing an aggressive policy agenda to implement from day one.
- Crafting a 180-day playbook for Trump’s second term.
Trump faced significant challenges during his first term, particularly in the initial years, due to defections within his ranks, opposition from recalcitrant Republican leaders despite their control of Congress, and several investigations, including the special counsel probe into alleged 'Russian collusion' approved by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Additionally, Trump’s early months and years in office were marked by chaos and disorganization, largely because few anticipated his victory over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
“This is a historic moment for the conservative movement,” said Paul Dans, director of the 2025 Presidential Transition Project, in a statement according to The Center Square. “From the time we launched this project, we knew conservatives needed to put aside differences and come together if we are to succeed in restoring our federal government to one ‘of the people, by the people, and for the people.’ And reaching 100 members on our advisory board is monumental.”
The report highlights that the Heritage Foundation is playing a significant role in this effort. Notably, during his first term, Trump released a list of potential Supreme Court Justice candidates created with the help of the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation. This led to the appointment of three justices in one term, significantly impacting major court cases, including the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which returned the abortion issue to the states.
Trump has campaigned vigorously against what he and other conservatives term the “deep state” – the mid-level bureaucrats with extensive authority granted by Congress to formulate rules, regardless of which political party holds power.
Project 2025 allows interested individuals to proactively apply for positions in a potential Trump administration. The goal is to swiftly populate the federal government with Trump loyalists and conservatives, aiming to counterbalance the predominantly liberal faction within the federal bureaucracy.
The Plum Book, a 232-page document listing thousands of positions in the executive branch that the president appoints, serves as a key reference for the movement’s leaders.
This strategy mirrors the approach used for the Supreme Court, extending its principles to approximately 9,000 executive branch positions appointed by the president.
“Americans are tired of their government being used against them,” Dans stated.
“The administrative state is, at best, completely out of touch with the American people and, at worst, is weaponized against them. We will soon embark on a historic reform of the federal government to get it once again to work for the American people. With our 100-member strong coalition, we have the momentum as we begin this critical year.”
The 180-day playbook includes a “transition plan” for each federal agency to be executed promptly upon Trump’s assumption of office. The Project 2025 policy agenda, while not mandatory for Trump, outlines an intricate set of reforms for numerous agencies, including those unfamiliar to most Americans.
