‘She’s So Cringe!’ Video Of Kamala Harris Surfaces After Big Loss To Trump

A recent video of Vice President Kamala Harris, who has remained largely out of the public eye following her significant loss to now-President-elect Donald Trump, has sparked widespread reactions on social media.

The clip, shared Thursday on the platform X, shows Harris addressing a group of Black state legislators at the National Black Caucus of State Legislators’ 48th Annual Conference. In her remarks, Harris greeted the attendees with a pronounced accent: “I knew y’all were in town. I couldn’t let it go without coming by to say, ‘Hello.’”

Jake Schneider, a member of Trump’s social media team, shared the clip, claiming Harris had “brought back the fake accent,” a critique echoed by others online.

Many users commented on her delivery, with some questioning her authenticity and others mocking her rare public appearance after her loss.

One commenter speculated about her sobriety, while another called it “cringey.”

The aftermath of Harris’s decisive electoral defeat is seen by some as a turning point for the Democratic Party, particularly for its aging leadership. Observers have pointed to the waning influence of figures like former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has long been a powerhouse in Democratic politics. Pelosi, 84, played a prominent role in efforts to sideline President Joe Biden before the election, but Harris’s defeat has intensified internal party divisions.

Pelosi appeared emotional during Harris’s concession speech at Howard University on Wednesday and was reportedly involved in a heated discussion with Donna Brazile, a former DNC chair. Party insiders suggest Pelosi’s standing as a “kingmaker” may now be diminishing in the wake of the election losses.

Investor and political commentator Kevin O’Leary noted, “The influences of a [Senate Majority Leader Chuck] Schumer or a Pelosi or a movie star or an Obama deciding to anoint somebody – those guys are gone. In four years, they won’t have that kind of influence.” O’Leary’s remarks also referenced actor George Clooney’s public call for Biden to withdraw from the race following his performance in a debate against Trump.

Republicans have not hesitated to place blame on Pelosi for the Democratic losses, including the Senate flipping to GOP control and the House remaining closely contested.

“You’ve got to blame Nancy Pelosi,” said former Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy during a Fox News interview, attributing the party’s struggles to Pelosi’s leadership.

As Democrats grapple with their electoral setbacks, figures like Harris and Pelosi remain focal points in the post-election fallout, signaling potential shifts in the party’s power dynamics moving forward.
