Sore Loser: Top Democrat Refuses to Concede After Losing His Seat, Signaling That the Liberal Meltdown Is Far from Over

It’s interesting to observe how the so-called defenders of “democracy” react when the results don’t align with their desires.

Democratic Sen. Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, who narrowly lost his re-election bid to Republican Senator-elect Dave McCormick, has declined to concede the race.

Furthermore, reports indicate that Casey has initiated a legal challenge.

The Associated Press declared McCormick the winner on Thursday. By Friday afternoon, the Senator-elect held a lead of over 36,000 votes against Casey.

Despite this, the incumbent Democrat is standing firm, claiming that many votes are yet to be tallied.

“It has been made clear there are more than 100,000 votes still to be counted,” Casey stated Thursday on the social media platform X.

The issue, naturally, is that the Associated Press was also aware of those uncounted votes.

“McCormick was leading by more than 30,000 votes when AP called the race at 4:09 p.m., and though there were an estimated 91,000 votes still outstanding, there were not enough in areas supporting Casey for him to make up the difference,” the outlet clarified.

Additionally, a significant portion of these votes are from solidly red Cambria County, where McCormick maintained a lead of over 40 points.

In simpler terms, basic math shows that Casey’s chances of a comeback are slim to none.

Still, that hasn’t deterred the incumbent from unleashing what many consider to be some of the most disruptive forces: Democrat lawyers.

According to Jack Posobiec of Human Events, “teams of lawyers” are already at work “trying to subvert Dave McCormick’s victory.”

President-elect Donald Trump secured Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral votes. As of Friday, per the Associated Press, Trump’s margin over Vice President Kamala Harris stood at 142,000 votes.

Therefore, McCormick’s win should not come as a surprise.

Moreover, there have been no accusations of voter fraud.

Hence, Casey would be wise to heed his own words.

In 2020, the senator urged then-President Trump to “take the first step” of “concession” to President-elect Joe Biden.

Naturally, there is ample evidence suggesting that deep-state actors manipulated the 2020 election against Trump, who never officially conceded — nor should he have.

At present, there is no indication that such dishonest tactics have affected the 2024 Pennsylvania Senate race. So, why does Casey require “teams of lawyers”?

Ultimately, the defeated Democrat should take the first step of concession and congratulate Senator-elect McCormick.
