Spine-of-Steel Bondi Tells Judge to Pound Sand, Says Admin Will Follow the Law Instead of Crony Judge

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi strongly criticized unelected federal judges who, she argued, are unlawfully obstructing President Donald Trump’s executive orders by exceeding their authority.
Over the weekend, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg of the District of Columbia intervened to prevent the Trump administration from deporting members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, a transnational crime syndicate.
During an emergency hearing on Saturday, Boasberg verbally directed the government to halt any deportation flights carrying these individuals.
Despite his directive, at least two flights departed during the proceedings and arrived in El Salvador, as reported by ABC News.
Administration officials contended that once the planes were over international waters, they were no longer within Boasberg’s jurisdiction.
Following this, the judge issued a written order to temporarily halt deportations for 14 days while the issue undergoes judicial review.
On Monday, Boasberg—who was appointed to the federal bench by former President Barack Obama—demanded the administration provide answers regarding the deportation flights, including:
- The departure time and location from U.S. soil
- When the aircraft left U.S. airspace
- The landing time in the foreign country
- The transfer time of the individuals from U.S. custody
- The number of deportees on board
The White House has been given a deadline of Thursday to respond.
Bondi asserted that Boasberg lacks the authority to interfere with Trump’s deportation policies.
“Our lawyers are working on this, we will answer appropriately,” Bondi stated on Fox News Wednesday.
“But what I will tell you is, this judge has no right to ask those questions,” she emphasized.

On Saturday, Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act to facilitate the deportation of Tren de Aragua members.
The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 grants the president the authority to detain or expel enemy invaders.
“You have one unelected federal judge trying to control foreign policy, trying to control the Alien Enemies Act, which they have no business presiding over,” Bondi declared on Fox News.
“And there are 261 reasons why Americans are safer now. That’s because those people are out of this country.”
The attorney general further stressed: “The judge had no business, no power, to do what he did. This has been a pattern with these liberal judges.”
“They’re meddling in foreign affairs. They’re meddling in our government, and the question should be, ‘Why is a judge trying to protect terrorists who invaded our country over our American citizens?'” Bondi questioned.
She confirmed that while the administration would comply with Boasberg’s inquiries, it would also appeal the injunction and continue efforts to remove terrorists from the country.
“We are going to deport them, and we’re going to continue to deport them,” Bondi vowed. “We will honor what the court says, but we will appeal. And we will continue to fight terrorists within our country.”
During a press conference on Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized Boasberg, labeling him a “Democratic activist” who is attempting to overstep the executive branch’s authority.
“The judge in this case is essentially trying to say the president doesn’t have the executive authority to deport foreign terrorists from our American soil,” she said. “That is an egregious abuse of the bench.”

“This judge cannot, does not, have that authority,” Leavitt asserted. “And that’s why we’re fighting this in court. It’s very clear that this is an activist judge who is trying to usurp this president’s authority.”
“Under the Alien Enemies Act, the president has the power, and that’s why the deportation campaign will continue,” Leavitt pledged.
Activist judges who operate under the guise of impartiality must stop squandering taxpayer resources and misusing the judicial system to erode presidential authority.
Unlike Trump, these unelected individuals were never chosen by the people.
