Top Fox News Host Could Soon Be FIRED After Stunning Comment

Democratic strategist Jessica Tarlov, a co-host on "The Five," is facing significant backlash following remarks she made earlier this week. During a Fox News appearance, Tarlov made a statement that many on social media have labeled as dangerous, suggesting it could incite violence against former President Donald Trump, the current GOP frontrunner for the 2024 election.

Tarlov said, “This is the chance to put the final nail in the coffin so that you don’t have Donald Trump on the ballot again.”

There have been two assassination attempts on Trump in the last ninety days, leading many on the political right to believe that the intense vilification of Trump by left-wing politicians and the media has played a role in provoking these attacks.

In response to the clip, an account on X called Common Sense Custodian posted, “Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE to speak like this. She needs to be FIRED immediately.”

Another commenter, Mark Ivey, added, “I don’t see why they keep her on The Five. I have to check to see if she or Harold is on every night. She’s the worst.”

Trump has publicly claimed that these assassination attempts were driven in large part by Vice President Joe Biden and President Joe Biden. He asserts that the constant portrayal of him as a threat to democracy by left-wing leaders has led some to believe that eliminating him is necessary to safeguard their freedoms.

An Associated Press article reported Trump's comments to Fox News Digital, where he said, “Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save the country and they are the ones that are destroying the country — both from the inside and out.”

The AP further noted, “While authorities continue to investigate the motives of both the gunman in Pennsylvania and the person arrested Sunday in Florida, Trump has made clear that he sees attempts on his life as politically motivated — and blames his rivals for them.”
