Trump Admin Makes 'Extremely Concerning' Discovery About Biden EPA - Billions Set Aside for Stacey Abrams-Linked Group
The Department of Government Efficiency remains steadfast in its mission to eliminate wasteful expenditures, further tarnishing the legacy of former President Joe Biden.
On Wednesday, The Washington Free Beacon revealed that the DOGE uncovered a $2 billion grant allocated by Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency to Power Forward Communities—an organization with connections to Democratic activist and former Georgia state Rep. Stacey Abrams.
The grant, issued in April 2024, was part of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund initiative under the EPA.
While Power Forward Communities’ association with Abrams is already problematic, further details make the situation even more troubling.
The organization had only been in existence for a few months before it was awarded the grant.
Citing tax filings, The Beacon reported that Power Forward Communities generated just $100 in revenue within its first three months.
EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin expressed his concerns, stating, “It’s extremely concerning that an organization that reported just $100 in revenue in 2023 was chosen to receive $2 billion. That’s 20 million times the organization’s reported revenue.”
Zeldin linked this grant to the Biden administration’s maneuver of setting aside $20 billion outside a financial institution just before leaving office, remarking, “As we continue to learn more about where some of this money went, it is even more apparent how far-reaching and widely accepted this waste and abuse has been.”
Power Forward Communities issued a single press release regarding the allocation of the funds.
“This grant provides needed capital to transform the marketplace for heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, induction stoves, solar panels, home battery systems, EV chargers, and wiring and weatherization upgrades that support them,” the statement read.
Power the Future Executive Director Daniel Turner condemned the grant as “out-and-out fraud.”
“For an organization that has no experience in this, that was literally just established, and had $100 in the bank to receive a $2 billion grant—it doesn’t just fly in the face of common sense, it’s out-and-out fraud,” he asserted.
Based on the available facts, that assessment seems entirely justified.
It appears that Abrams founded an organization as a conduit for the Biden administration to funnel billions in taxpayer money her way.
Any diligent taxpayer should be outraged.
For four years, Americans were forced to fund Biden’s questionable financial dealings with their hard-earned money.
Given these revelations, it defies logic how Democrats could object to the efforts of the DOGE. Since its inception, the department has faced fierce criticism from the left, with accusations that it has placed the government in a “constitutional crisis.”
While the misuse of public funds to benefit activists like Abrams is infuriating, the mental gymnastics her Democratic allies will perform to defend it will be nothing short of entertaining.
