Trump Bolts Past Harris In Post-Debate Internal Survey

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign announced on Thursday that internal polling shows him gaining an edge over Vice President Kamala Harris.

The poll, conducted by Tony Fabrizio, a prominent pollster and a key figure for Trump’s campaign, focused on voters in seven critical swing states that are expected to determine the outcome of the election.

“Last night, we surveyed 1,893 likely voters across our seven key target states,” the campaign memo stated, according to The Daily Wire. “Despite efforts from Kamala Harris and the media to frame the debate as a decisive win for her, voters didn’t share that view, with support for Harris remaining unchanged. The only shift we observed was a 2-point boost for President Trump in both ballot setups.”

The memo continued, “In last week’s data (pre-debate) from our surveys (N=5,600) across the seven target states, both full and head-to-head ballots were dead even. In our post-debate data, President Trump now leads Vice President Harris by 2 points, 48% to 46%, and in the head-to-head ballot, he holds a 3-point lead, 50% to 47%.”

In a ballot setup including all other candidates — Green Party’s Jill Stein, Independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Libertarian Chase Oliver, and Independent Cornel West — Trump gained 2 points after the debate, leading Harris 48-46. Harris’s support remained flat.

In the head-to-head matchup between Trump and Harris, Trump gained 3 points after the debate, while Harris dropped by 1 point. This turned a previous 48-48 tie into a 50-47 lead for Trump, according to the internal polling.

“Clearly, voters in these key states were not impressed by Kamala Harris’s vague statements. While the media might suggest she is coasting to victory, the reality is far different,” the memo concluded.

Fox News host Jesse Watters discussed a notable update on the 2024 race during his Thursday evening show.

“Kamala isn’t Joe Biden, and yes, there’s excitement because she’s a woman — my mom is suddenly a big Kamala fan, always talking about joy,” he remarked.

“Trump kept one dangerous woman out of the White House before, and he can do it again. This country is desperate for leadership after four years of Joe Biden. And ‘Hideaway Harris’ isn’t going to work. Voters can only take so much deception. You could feel the buzz today — the press thrilled to justify their paychecks,” Watters added, criticizing Harris for avoiding press conferences, with her last one held in Dubai in 2023.

Watters continued, “Trump got his team back together, the room was packed. To use the left’s slogan — ‘this is what democracy looks like.’”

He emphasized, “Freedom of the press, freedom of speech, and live idea exchanges without censorship. Voters heard from a man seeking to represent them, unscripted, without cheat sheets or teleprompters. The media misses Trump. The press and politicians are supposed to have a tense, challenging relationship. With Biden and Harris, it’s weak and corrupt. Everybody sees it. They’re back to their old tactics again.”
