Trump Clashes with Fox News, Claims Network Is Hurting the Election

Former President Donald Trump expressed his frustration with Fox News on Monday, asserting that the network is having a “negative effect” on the upcoming presidential election.

In a series of posts on social media, Trump criticized Fox for "bowing down" to Vice President Kamala Harris and her campaign team.

"FoxNews has completely lost its direction!" Trump shared on Truth Social.

He went on to question the airtime given to Ian Sams, Senior Advisor to Kamala Harris, writing, "How much time does Ian Sams, Senior Advisor to Lyin’ Kamala Harris, spend on FoxNews?"

Trump pointed out that Sams appeared on Cavuto’s show, which he described as "Fox’s Lowest Rated Show, by far," and added, "He spent much of the weekend attacking ‘TRUMP,’ without any opposition, hosted by Eric Shawn and Arthel Neville – Not exactly the next Walter Cronkite of the Broadcasting World!"

The former president criticized Sams, stating, "Sams is just a below-average guy, with rehearsed FAKE NEWS talking points, most of which are WRONG." He accused Fox of providing a platform to other "Harris Radical Left Democrat mouthpieces" like Richard Fowler, Patrick Murphy, and Jessica Tarlov, saying, "It has a very negative effect on the Election."

Trump also referenced his recent interview with Maria Bartiromo, noting, "Think of it, I spend an hour with the wonderful Maria Bartiromo, do a great job, and then the rest of the day is filled with one-sided, negative Democrats, including Ian Sams, who practically runs the Network. It’s not worth doing Interviews on Fox because it all balances out to NOTHING."

In a separate post, Trump criticized Fox’s decision to allow Harris an interview.

"Lyin’ Kamala Harris has cleverly picked Bret Baier of FoxNews for an interview, knowing he is viewed as ‘Fair & Balanced,’ though he often goes easy on the ‘cocktail circuit’ Left," Trump wrote.

"I would have preferred a tougher journalist, but Fox has become so soft and accommodating to Democrats, constantly airing unchallenged Kamala surrogates, that it doesn’t even matter anymore," he added.

He ended the post with a call to action: "Hopefully, people will realize this on November 5th, and with Early Voting. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

Harris is set to appear in an interview with Baier on Wednesday.

Tarlov, whose name was misspelled by Trump, had previously used her platform on Fox to voice opposition to Trump. During an appearance on “The Five,” she urged voters to use Election Day to end Trump’s political career.

“This is the chance to put the final nail in the coffin so that you don’t have Donald Trump on the ballot again,” Tarlov said.
