Trump Gets HUGE News About His Face On Mount Rushmore

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has officially introduced a measure directing the Secretary of the Interior to carve President Donald J. Trump’s likeness into Mount Rushmore.

“I’ve officially introduced legislation to put President Trump’s face on Mount Rushmore,” Luna announced on X. “His remarkable accomplishments for our country and the success he will continue to deliver deserve the highest recognition and honor on this iconic national monument. Let’s get carving!”

If the bill passes, the National Park Service would oversee the addition of Trump’s likeness to the historic monument in South Dakota, where it would stand alongside the faces of Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt. The legislation has been submitted to the 119th Congress.

“President Trump’s bold leadership and steadfast dedication to America’s greatness have cemented his place in history,” Luna stated in a separate press release. “Mount Rushmore, a timeless symbol of our nation’s freedom and strength, deserves to reflect his towering legacy—a legacy further solidified by the powerful start to his second term.”

“He will be forever remembered among the great like Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt.”

The proposed legislation seeks to honor Trump, who has served as both the 45th and 47th President of the United States, for the lasting impact of his leadership. The bill highlights his achievements in “economic growth, national security, and a foreign policy that brought peace to the world and put America first.”

Mount Rushmore, located in South Dakota’s Black Hills, is one of America’s most recognizable landmarks, featuring the colossal faces of four influential presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. The monument represents the nation’s founding, expansion, progress, and preservation.

Construction of the monument began in 1927 under the direction of sculptor Gutzon Borglum and took fourteen years to complete. Borglum selected these four presidents due to their major contributions to U.S. history: Washington for laying the foundation of the nation, Jefferson for the Louisiana Purchase and territorial expansion, Roosevelt for his leadership in conservation and economic reform, and Lincoln for preserving the Union during the Civil War. The carving process, which required hundreds of workers, involved both dynamite and precise hand-finishing.

Each year, Mount Rushmore attracts over two million visitors, offering breathtaking views and an in-depth look at American history. The site includes a museum, the Presidential Trail for up-close exploration, and a nightly lighting ceremony.

The measure is expected to face significant opposition from the left.
